My son is going to have surgery today. Another broken bone. Doc wants to put stainless steel plate in the arm. I guess titanium is the other option. Which one is more inert? Really not happy with this. He's already got all that metal in his face. GEEZ Also they gave him oxycodone which is acetaminophen. All the news out about even small amounts of acetaminaphen causing liver damage. I do not not want him to take this. What other pain relievers would be less toxic to the liver if anyone can help me with this. Loni [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

If the surgery is today, it seems too late to be researching options... :-( I have no idea on the pros/cons of stainless steel vs. titanium, although in my EMF protection device experimentation, I've found stainless steel to cause fewer symptoms than titanium. Although that is not particularly relevant to how these metals degrade in the body, and what the body accumulates as a result of this degradation. Marc |

You said "another broken bone." If you son's bones break easily, it would be good to address the cause of that. One thing that comes to mind is that sugar/white flour cause calcium loss. Turmeric will help protect his liver. It also helps livers heal. Powdered turmeric in warm water, 3-4 times a day. 1/4 tsp. at least, is what i' do. it's anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, as well. Even anti-viral. As so many herbs/spices are now irradiated, try to buy organic. No metal is good in the body. Why do the doctors suppose his bone will not heal? Hi Loni,
Celiac disease also leads often to osteoporosis or osteopenia and broken bones. Hope it works out well for your son, Diane --- On Sat, 2/26/11, [hidden email] <[hidden email]> wrote: From: [hidden email] <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Re: Metal in Surgery Help!
