I've been eating quite alot of both of these and I've only just found
out about the mercury in fish (apparently it's because fish are very good at absorbing it) and that tuna has one of the highest levels of mercury in it. And guess what I've been eating alot of?!!!!! Yes that's right, tuna, it's all beginning to make sense now. And soya makes me feel really bad. I don't eat meat, but I have only been having 1 or 2 soya products a week, but this week I had several and I felt awful and I think products with mycoprotein (vegetarian meat replacement) in seem just as bad, I'm not sure if that is partly made of soya or not. I just thought I'd let you know because I think you can't often tell that it is a certain food that's causing the problems until you've eaten quite alot of it and even then it's sometimes hard to tell exactly which food is the problem. I think I'm going to have to try some form of metal detox to seriously get rid of this problem, I've only tried a couple of clay baths so far and that was quite a while ago. Please add any other foods you know or strongly suspect to have metals in them to this thread. |
Everything you eat, drink and even breathe, contains heavy metals.
We found, that ionic foot spas do have an excellent detox effect for them. The heavy electrosensibility of one person was decreased by some 90 % after a two weeks sessions. Thanks for the advice, I will look into getting one of these if they
are not too expensive. I found some interesting information on a site which sells these foot spas. They also sell alkaline water sticks, which sound like they may also be useful to people with ES. Here's the link http://www.rtassociates.co.uk/alkaline_water.htm#alkaline and the most interesting thing I found was this info about the body's PH balance and how most people who suffer from a PH imbalance are acidic. What I'm thinking is that this might explain alot of peoples comments on here that certain foods help them or make them worse. It seems that being too acidic makes the body work harder than it should to try to neutralise this which can cause things like immune deficiency and free radical damage. I think it's defintitely worth a read and it has a food chart which shows which foods form acid or alkaline in the body. http://www.rtassociates.co.uk/biobodycleanser051.htm#ph --- In [hidden email], "charles" <charles@...> wrote: > > Everything you eat, drink and even breathe, contains heavy metals. > > We found, that ionic foot spas do have an excellent detox effect for them. > The heavy electrosensibility of one person was decreased by some 90 % after > a two weeks sessions. > > Greetings, > Charles Claessens > member Verband Baubiologie > www.milieuziektes.nl > www.milieuziektes.be > www.hetbitje.nl > checked by Norton Antivirus > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "richsurf77" <richgrav@...> > To: <[hidden email]> > Sent: Monday, February 19, 2007 12:23 > Subject: [eSens] Mercury in fish and matal in soya > > > > I've been eating quite alot of both of these and I've only just > > out about the mercury in fish (apparently it's because fish are very > > good at absorbing it) and that tuna has one of the highest levels of > > mercury in it. Also, one of the most helpful supplements for me is "Mega-H", which when sprinkled into water raises the pH of the water significantly. Marc |
