Intro: I'm best reachable (if health ever permits) via my email link -
but even that is seldom accessed lately, as my situation has progressed. Consider this as a message in a bottle since due to excruciating bladder issues I'm on a hot tin roof as I type this update (this - despite that my LCD was certified "zero radiation" via Holaday 3600-02 ELF gaussmeter. I've been on hiatus from computer for weeks, due to my situation. If not for black cherry products (and raspberry NOT rasp.leaf and NOT cranberry) it would be even worse. But even cherry doesn't help the nerve/muscles/varicose etc. nor the headaches & twitches & eyes. Rather, it helps the bladder. So much for the intro, now to the point. Marc, I appreciate your running this group, as I'm sure are many others, though many of us EHS can't even be online! Telepathy would be most efficient for people like me - to communicate telepathically. BTW, you may remember our ongoing correspondence on that dental e- list at which time we'd had some disagreements (i.e. vis-a-vis EMF protectors, wife's food reactions, onion allergy, etc. Had those discussions motivated you to launch this e-group? Whatever the case, thanks for running it fairly, because unlike other groups, you don't often ban members despite that what helps you doesn't always work for other types of cases. Update: Since my last post, I'd tried getting hold of Eschenbach 3X hands-free binoculars. The 2X (under $100) is too close a distance at 6 feet. The 3X is only available via eye doctor and are more expensive - maybe $400. So that option is no good for me. In any case, I'm thinking that it might not work, since despite the distance, I'd be viewing the LIGHT of the LCD via the glass of the binoculars, and that itself might cause me issues. Even people who just wear glasses (even before the advent of computers) sometimes would get dizziness/headaches - due to reflection of light on the lenses. A projector is too expensive for me and no room nor ability to set up. Ditto re: grounding etc. Meanwhile, despite that for past weeks I was wracked with inflammation in ribs area and elsewhere, I resumed Detoxamin just to get it *done* with. I had also simultaneously done Salt/C - with the result that I'm now off both because infection was triggered. Instead I'm on steady cherry & raspberry products again (among other stuff) to help my bladder recuperate. BTW, even as I type this, I can feel twitches starting up in my lower lip, my throat is starting to get gritty, as well as gritty eyes, finger issues & varicose calves & more. Frustratingly, I can't yet handle updating my monitorpain site (nor monitoring it) because if so, I'd add excerpts from "Invisible Disease" specifically - that Per Hedemalm (pg. 51) responded to Nordstrom's Q: "If light interacts with one's chemical toxicity, how do you explain reactions to EMF through walls & hidden cellphones?" Hedemalm responded that UV light is a kind of EMR and since bisphenols can be broken by UV, it isn't farfetched that other types of EMR can do the same. There's a link between phenols and sensitivity to UV & visible light. (BTW Marc/Drasko/etc. this explains my intolerance of light AND grapes AND garlic which have phenols! Hi Minni,
I was motivated to start "eSens" because we were having a lot of EMF discussions on a heavy metal discussion group, and I felt that this wasn't the most appropriate place for them to occur. Especially since that group was not being indexed by Google! (this one is) Also, the other EMF groups were mostly alarmist groups, or groups that forbid the discussion of EMF protection devices (because the list moderators didn't like them) And I do end up banning some people (or at least severely moderating them) at times. Agreeing with my opinion isn't usually the issue, though... I recognize that there are other ways to cope with EMF than the methods I use. Sorry to hear about your bladder problems -- I had a pesky bladder problem several years ago, and was stunned when it was cleared up by a homeopathic bladder remedy by Unda. I think that was the only time I ever had good results from homeopathy. As for the light sensitivity, I still think that this is from a severe nutritional deficiency... I don't think there is anything inherently unhealthy about "light", but certainly unhealthy people can have an adverse reaction to almost anything. As for people who get headaches/dizziness from wearing glasses, I'd also suspect that this has something to do with them having metal parts. If you could find a pair of glasses that contains absolutely no metal at all (including no screws!), they may be more tolerable (I wear contact lenses, which sidesteps this problem) And I agree that a projector is not a practical solution for most people...but it probably could offer a lot of relief! (I'm holding out for an LCD with an LED backlight unit. Samsung is releasing a $2000 one next month, but this is still too expensive for me, and also they foolishly put the AC/DC transformer in the monitor, not in the power cord, where I would think is the safest place for it to go) Marc |
