Magnetic Shielding for Laptop Computer

Susan
The "Less EMF Store" has "Magnetic Shielding Foil"
for Laptops.  They said if I use it as a Keyboard Shield,
on the bottom and top of the base of my computer,
and use an external keyboard it could help to not be
so effected by the Magnetic Field of the computer.

Has anyone ever used this kind of foil or anything else
that has helped with shielding the magnetic field effects
from a laptop computer.

Thanks!
Susan

There are better ways, but I am not going to repeat everything over and over again.

Hi Susan-
I've never tried the 'Magnetic Shielding Foil' but have purchased LessEMF.com's low EMF keyboard and mouse (9.95 each) with long cords which allow a five-foot distance from the laptop or a desktop tower and display.  This has helped me immensely.

I used to have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which was intolerable even with the external keyboard/mouse.  I switched to a Dell laptop and am able to handle it a lot better.

Best wishes in finding relief!
Bonnie

I did it the lazyman [lazywoman in my case] way.  I noticed that my macbook had RFs w/ in 6" of the keyboard base, after disabling everything.  I had some left over swiss shld Nutrell in a junk pile and wrapped it around the base.  Meter then read no RFs.  I have since moved it under the TV and use Tv as a monitor.  I have always used external wired keyboard and mouse, even before I heard of EMFs as they just work better and ease of use.

I am sure there are much better ways than this, but it took seconds and was just right there to use.

I am going to switch this out next week w/ a windows machine [2010 HP] and will be interesting to see if it radiates and how the fabric works.

LCD screens on computer and TV make my vision worse over time.  Think this would happen to anyone, not just those w/ EHS.  Seems they are hard on the eyes.  I have flux installed on my system to tone down the blue and have TV set warm.

I heard something last week about turning the screens to full bright as that disengauges the dimmer and therefore less emfs.  Run for sunglasses.
