MTHFR gene mutations

People with MTHFR gene mutations like C677T and/or A1298C
often have more problems with EMF is said here:
https://mthfrgenehealth.com/mthfr-electromagnetic-hypersensitivity/
I don't know where they got that info. Anyone?
(They recommend protection devices, where I don't believe in, but I'm not talking about that).
I do have a double mutation on 1 of the 2 they mention: the MTHFR A1298C.
But I also have other "mutations".
That was tested some time ago:

Quote from Elana (in a comment from 2018 at the bottom of the page):
those like myself with the MTHFR genetic mutation do not detox as efficiently as those without it. This is an issue with EMFs since they are a constant, chronic assault on the cellular level that create inflammation and require constant detoxification.

Dr. David Minkoff mentions a link between homocysteine build-up and lack of natural glutathione
which he says is the main detoxifier and anti-oxidant in the human body.
could this be linked to EHS people and the build up of toxins in our body?

Here is what he said in the video i linked to above:

"You've probably heard this methylation defect, this MTHFR, this methyl tetrahydrofolic acid, there's a block in the gene, it's a genetic thing and these people build up homocysteine because they can't convert their folic acid or their b12 to an active form and we give them activated b12 and activated folic acid, b6 and b5. These are the things that sort of bypass the glitch in the person and then when there's not enough of those... homocysteine is a buildup product and if you give these things, usually homocysteine goes down and homocysteine turns into a very important substance called glutathione, which is the main antioxidant and it's the main detoxifier in the body and if you have homocysteine and you can't convert to glutathione you're going to be a slow detoxifier, you're not going to get rid of heavy metals and chemicals and pesticides like you should, so this is really important, but with the right b vitamins or the right high fat diet, you can convert this and make glutathione, which is what's supposed to happen".

(Note that this is a video from 2016, and gene stuff is controversial).

(this website was linked to in the EHS solutions list)
also mentions glutathione for detox.
