very badly to my Dads house whgich due to long term damp from a leaking flat roof smells mouldy although I cant see the stuff only in cupboards, I can sure smell it, in fact if my dad wears a jacket that he has hung in the hall it nearly knocks me over, any one elese experienced this, I am upset as I went to his house for only 40 mins to try to fix his washing machine and later that night got a sore throat and wheezy chest which has now devloped into a cough and itchy top inside my chest !!! what can be done to kill the mould off ? paul uk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Hi Paul,
Below is a snippet of a product that is from Germany and available here in Australia under the name LIVOS, which I believe the German company is called too. This extract is from a pdf passed along to me by the Australian company and it also contains before and after photos of it in use. You may wish to look them up. Cheers, Helen (Oz) FUNGIVER Mould and Mildew Remover # 1780 The new innovation for the treatment of mould and fungus. The new active substance: Peroxicarbonconnections, formed from the available oxygen and fruit acids. The effect: Much stronger than each mould fungus spore. 1. Peroxidation/Disruption of the cell membrane. 2. Oxidation of Anti-oxidation substances oxygen catchers. 3. Oxidation of (Organic Thiole points have an Intensive unpleasant smell). 4. Enzyme inhibition. 5. Oxidation of nucleus. 6. Overloading of the energy balance. 7. Destruction of the protein synthesis. 8. Complete cell destruction/death of cell. Mold has neurotoxins. Some strains are considered
lethal. The moisture problem must be solved. If it is toxic mold (which can be tested) professional removal and remediation is worth it. And even for standard, less toxic moulds, many people who are MCS as well as
ES (i.e. damaged immune system) react badly to moulds, even if their MCS or allergies are fairly mild. For the record, re: Mold & ES:
Some background: Approx. 2 years ago, I'd been at a IV chelation clinic. (btw, even after 11expensive treatments of diSodium EDTA, I didn't feel better, nor did replacement of 17 mercury amalgam fillings, at an expensive Huggins certified dentist, nor did a zillion subsequent detox avenues help). Anyway: Due to my sensitivity to bright lights, I was sharing a separate room with another woman who'd been mold toxified and who'd been seeing an environmental doctor who'd been trained by Dr.Rea. For her benefit, they'd turned on an air purifier in the room. For my benefit, they'd turned off the lights in the room. My point: The mold-toxified woman did NOT require the fluresent turned off. I did require the flur. turned off. And she was WAY more chem.sensitive than me. She even detected my mild underarm deoderant. I myself am chem. sensitive to perfume/alcohol & alot more. But NOT to the degree she was. My friend lived in an apartment that had very visible mold in the garage. It took her a few months to find a new place to live as she had them tested for mold. Once she moved she did detoxing with cholorestyramine. Her whole family saw a lot of improvement with the mold detox program. Her autistic son had huge improvements in behaviour.
Ritchie Shoemaker has a book and website about mold biotoxin and how once aperson has been affected by mold neurotoxin they stay in the body. She didn't do his program, but worked with another mold specialist in New York. They have tried many diet changes, detox protocols over the last few years and this one made the biggest difference in their health. --- In [hidden email], paulpjc@... wrote: > > Does anyone have any problems with mould, recently I have been reacting > very badly to my Dads house whgich due to long term damp from a leaking flat > roof smells mouldy although I cant see the stuff only in cupboards, I can > sure smell it, in fact if my dad wears a jacket that he has hung in the hall > it nearly knocks me over, any one elese experienced this, I am upset as I > went to his house for only 40 mins to try to fix his washing machine and > later that night got a sore throat and wheezy chest which has now devloped > into a cough and itchy top inside my chest !!! what can be done to killthe > mould off ? > > paul uk > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > |

We have an old car which we are looking to sell and which could be suitable
for someone with ES. We got it for Sue when she was severely ES 4 years ago and it was the only car she could drive. Cars with central locking gave her particular problems, but all modern electronic gadgetry was bad for her. This car has none! We also removed the speakers (magnetic fields) and even the radio. However she is now well enough to drive normal cars again. The car is a Peugeot 205 hatchback dating back to 1987 (F reg), still running well at about 110,000 miles. There is no electronic ignition, fuel injection, computerisation or central locking. We have also been careful to avoid air fresheners and perfumes etc! It generally runs well although, like most cars of that era, it is sometimes not so happy starting on cold winter mornings. Obviously we will not be looking for much money for it, but we hope it could provide a real help to someone with ES and help get them mobile again, as it did with Sue. We're based in the south of England, though the car is currently in Wales with an ES friend who has temporarily borrowed it. If you might be interested, or know someone who could benefit, please get in touch. We can try to come to some arrangement if you want a trial period or live some way away. Hi Minni - very interesting history, sorry for the late reply as I've ben
away for Christmas with no internet connection. It goes to show again that it is not "one size fits all" with ES (and MCS), different groups of people have different sets of symptoms. There are lots of people with MCS who do not have ES - it seems to need a trigger event or a particular sensitivity to get the latter. There are not many in my experience with ES who do not have some level of MCS - the exceptions seem to be people who have had a very long term high-level exposure to EMR. Would be interested to know how your ES began and developed. It certainly sounds from your experience with chelation that your problem doesn't seem to be related to heavy metals etc. It's still possible that it's liver related (maybe one specific chemical or gene missing) even if standard detox methods haven't worked, as they are a bit of a blunt instrument. We haven't had any replies on this. Does anyone know of someone who might
be able to make use of this car? It would be a real shame to scrap it, as with modern electronic gadgetry becoming almost universal, ES-benign cars are becoming increasingly rare.
