MATTRESS WITH NO SPRINGS

PUK
I have deliberated on this one for a while, wether to replace my
comfortable sprung mattress for a foam one. Well since I sleep in a
mild WIFI and DECT (blame the neighbour)cloud as well as a spurious 3G
signal(blame Hutchison telecom) I thought it a good move.

I bought a Simmons Bed-in-a-bag part Visco elastic mattress. Aired it
off for 3 days in an open room. Do you know at this stage I feel like
I made the wrong move. Despite all the blurb regarding hypoallergenic,
I was aware that they are heavily doused up with fire retardent. I
have not slept well on this mattress since I got it 10 days ago. I get
a bunged up nose and I am convinced (call me paranoid if you like) that
the chemicals gassing-off are bringing me down. Still as with all
changes it takes time for things to kick in. So watch this space.

I would be interested to see how this works for you. I am of the understanding that PFOA,
which foam is made of, outgase at 68F. If your body is warming at night, under the covers,
you could be producing enough to cause a chemical reaction.

Please, keep posting. I would be interested to hear how you sleep. I would also be
interested to know: digestion, eyesight changes, brain and cognitive function, how is your
moejoe (embarassing I know). I wonder if you will need to wake in the nightand urinate?
Numerous times maybe? How is your swallowing, any feelings of restriction? Do you go
into daytime sweats? Do you experience pain in the jaw or teeth while sleeping?

I am really interested.

See what working with smart, conscious people can bring about.....collaboration to bring
about solution.

I've seen it posted here before that Tempurpedic offgasses
their mattresses with ozone before selling them. So that
might be another option.

I guess there's a good reason why that brand is more
expensive. :-)
