Laptop with LED Backlight is Available

It's an HP Compaq 2710p Notebook PC with
a U7500 ultra low voltage processor (10 watts)
using the latest Santa Rosa Intel chipset.

Chances are this sucker will burn me up just
like my last laptop did. But it is tempting
to try it out.

I think there's been a Sony VAIO laptop
with an LED backlight for a few years now.
But the LED backlights should become
more and more common in the future.
Although, like you say, it may not make
any difference in terms of ES, but one
can be hopeful!
