I just read some day ago that Bill Gates is now the biggest farm land owner in the US, he's been buying up A LOT of land lately, but not really explaining what for.
I am worried that land is getting in the wring hands in the US, Europe, Africa etc...
Land is for living, having a home, surviving, homesteading, growing crops, maybe hunting/fishing if done sustainably, protecting delicate habitats and species, restauration, reforestation, healing of the land and the people.
When business become the main focus for having/buying land, then land is seen as a commodity.
Let's hope land ends up as what it was meant to be intended, and as a safe home for each and every one of us.
