Re: LCD TVs - emf protection devices

Hi Diane - thanks for the link...although my "fried" brain prevents me fromreading it word-for-word, lol. But it is (or at least was?) my understanding that orgonite, in general, doesn't need to be cleansed or cleared. Individual, "stand-alone" crystals need periodic clearing - but when those crystals (quartz) are incorporated into an orgonite matrix, the orgonite perpetually puts out "positive" energy. There is something about the quartz being "pressurized" within the resin that gives it this effect. (Pardon me if that isn't the most precise, detailed explanation.) When I was Googling various orgonite websites several months ago, I think some of those sites said(or implied) something to this effect. And I don't think any of the sitesI came across mentioned that you have to clean the orgonite, or that the quartz within it "wears out". On the other hand, I remember at least one site selling individual crystals recommending that you periodically "cleanse"the crystals.

Orgonite enthusiasts often bury pieces of orgonite into the soil and leave it there "forever" - I don't think they dig the orgonite up from the groundto cleanse it. I think it's assumed that the orgonite never ceases to putout positive orgone energy.

IIRC, other stones (like selenite) are often added to the orgonite to "recharge" the quartz on a continuous basis.

Maybe I should get in contact with the person who sold me the orgonite justto make sure that it doesn't require cleansing. I'm thinking that he would have told me if it did need periodic cleansing/recharging.

I know this isn't the most "scientific" source....but just having googled "cleansing orgonite", this page was among the first to pop up. It is a linkto a listing of orgonite auctions on eBay - and underneath the product description of some pieces is the phrase "never needs clearing or cleansing":

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=orgonite

Here's another page stating that orgonite doesn't need cleansing:

So I backed off of them. But it's been good to read that you, among others - believe in these devices enough that you've incorporated them into your lives.

There might be better stuff out there that I have yet to discover for myself - but for some reason I have a certain "comfort level" with those products. (The relatively-low cost of the products doesn't hurt.)

Detox reaction, perhaps? Could be...but right now I'm not willing to persist to find out. Maybe those orgonite pieces were made *too* strong for me.

Yes, when you do a Google Search for Quantum Products, you do get results
back from "Advanced Living", which is merely one guy selling EMF protection
and other stuff. He used to sell items from Quantum Products,
but I don't think he does anymore, even though his website may have
some old pages which make it look like he still does.

---------->Interesting. I guess this is another case-in-point that we haveto listen to what our own bodies and minds are telling us - even if it is contrary to the hype. What a shame, if what is true for you is true for many. Reading the websites, I walked away thinking that orgonite is almost the 8th wonder of the world. I mean, I want to believe the dogma that it has the ability to turn toxic human beings into easygoing, compassionate people - and toxic environments into healthy ones. I mean, I was ready to get my hands on some batches of orgonite and "sprinkle" it all over my community - and watch as it became a "shinier, happier" place. ~Svetaswan

-------->Ten years? That's wonderful to hear. :) So the same protective devices have worked continuously for 10 years - even without needing to replace them? ~Svetaswan

-------->I was going to write a little more, but my mind literally shuts down for some reason. I don't know why my mind works (or *doesn't* work) like this. I mean, I'm not trying to write a Tolstoy novel - I'm just trying to communicate via a simple post. But my mind doesn't even allow that. Ittakes shockingly little for me to become mentally exhausted. ~Svetaswan

Yes, my first Quantum Companion is almost 10 years old -- it's rather
amazing, since when I first got it I thought it looked rather fragile
and would break quickly. But these Quantum Products have not
failed (other than a Quantum Home that was "dead on arrival"). And
some other devices seem to have an indefinite (or at least many
years) lifetime as well. Usually I end up losing them before
they stop working!
