Ipad protection - tingling hands

We have ethernet cables (no WIFI) and grounding cables but my kids still hold and touch the screen when playing games. I limit their time to weekends, 2 hours but i am still concerned as my son tells me his hands are tingling. what to do?

I think some people react to the touchscreen technology and also the internal electronics in iPads, iPhones, etc., so even though you've got it wired, it's still causing problems. I don't know if there's anything to be done about that, other than trying an alternate piece of hardware and seeing if that improves things.

There was some talk once about the early iPads being more tolerable, but these days those would be classified "ancient / obsolete" models.

yes they sell shielded gloves, they sell all kinds of things, but do they shield from a keyboard ?
They say it shields RF and electric, which is a bit vague and misleading imo.
And metal also attracts electric fields, and grounding the gloves may also be a bad idea.
They won't shield RF/dirty power in the kHz to lower MHz range. Only higher RF like in the GHz range for example. And they won't shield magnetic.
(also they are Adult Size, he says it's for his kids).
And someone i know has tested the gloves and says they don't help.
It's also possible that it depends on what you are sensitive to ?
But i wouldn't recommend trying those.
i have tested some shielding materials on a mouse and i doesn't seem effective:

question everything, test for yourself, etc.
I make mistakes as well.

If the Wifi has been turned off on the iPad then the RF blocking gloves may not help. Perhaps it's the high magnetic field coming from the device which is why some in the group are trying to find a more tolerable mouse with a low magnetic field. Here's a video showing the high magnetic field of an iPad. It's the top scale on the Trifield showing around 20 milli gauss which would have my hands tingling and aching soon)

I am wondering about this as I had dental amalgams which caused heavy metal toxicity, they told me having metals in my body was attracting electro/wifi radiation like an antenna. Wouldn't the metal in the gloves, therefore, attract these waves the same way?

Well yes, there are those who avoid having metal on their person... no belt buckles, eyeglasses, jewelry, watches, car keys, metal dental fillings, etc. As it makes symptoms worse when combined with certain frequencies. And I think these people would not do well wearing gloves or other shielded clothing containing metal.

However, some people seem fine with it, and even find it beneficial. But that's like anything else with this condition -- not everyone reacts the same to things.

Thank you. Since the Ipad seems to emit all this magnetic radiation what is the safest way for the kids to play their fortnight game. I wish I could just throw them out.
