I fear that most people would not regard David Icke as a reputable source.
He was a mediocre British footballer, sports presenter and Green Party member whose views became so bizarre that he was expelled and became a general laughing-stock. Since then he has come up with equally outlandish views but has managed to self-publicise and get significant acceptance, as he can be quite a convincing speaker and writer. He claimed in a 1999 book that the planet is being run by a New World Order controlled by a race of reptilian humanoids called the "Babylonian Brotherhood", including most world leaders. The phrase "Illuminati" in his newsletter below is a giveaway. Interestingly, certain aspects of his views appeal to both the extreme right and extreme left wing (but not anyone in between). For a fairly critical but reasonably balanced article on him see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke. We can be aware of the points he makes, but quoting him as a source would erode any credibility with most ordinary people! Well said and I agree. Most ordinary people are the hardest to convince
that there is anything wrong with anything. I think their lives are dependent on staying happy and not looking at anything that might be considered negative or contrary to their current views. And, if anyone is going to win an election the middle must be won over. I also agree with 99% of what David Icke talks about and have been reading his books and watching his videos for years. In addition, I have done a considerable amount of research regarding the ancient civilizations of Sumeria, Babylonia, Egypt, Greece, India, Tibet, etc. and the Gods Yahweh, Ra, Isis, Horus, Haddad, Ishtar, Zeus, Enlil, Enki, etc. I have also done much in researching the current secret societies that co-create our modern political scene and agree with the position that there are extraterrestrial entities effecting our world's cultural and political evolution. I have found that ordinary people don't want to look further than their newspaper for information and that is why I see to have the greatest difficulty talking with "normal" or ordinary people. I think they have been successfully brainwashed and spiritually robbed of their psychic senses with Aspartame, Vaccines, and Radio/Microwave Radiation from HAARP and local sources that they can no longer see behind the veil. I appreciate being reminded of the difficult task before me when I talk about invisible radiation that flies through the air, which cannot be seen, or felt but will manipulate and kill us eventually. I am taking a business workshop next week on how to work with normal people and I hope I can understand them better so I can have more compassion for them and can learn how to speak with them regarding the detrimental effects of certain frequencies of the EM spectrum and how we can get together to oppose its use. of David Icke I would agree with the "ordinary people" - I don't see the need to invoke extra-terrestrials to explain the various strange things that go in in world history and politics, I tend to prefer the "cock-up rather than conspiracy" theories! (Though I do feel strongly that spiritual elements are important in our lives, although many will of course disagree). However it is a nice feature of this group that people with quite widely different views on some subjects can work together for the common cause! Hey, I found this pg. looking for the one on the neodymium magnets, thought it might be helpful for talking to people about the emf waves. At least it seems kinda good that way to me. http://educate-yourself.org/cn/tetracellphonedangers25nov04.shtml I find it works best, if it's people you can see somewhat regularly to give them just one tiny bit at a time. Like that they're microwaving their brain every time they use the cell phone. Then maybe show them a brain scan picture of it another time. Any little tidbits, it's like a whole new language to many out there. I know even for myself when I hear things that I don't really think much about at the time, it often comes back around, sometimes a few years later and since it's already been put in my head, I then take a harder look at it. Years isn't good timing in this case as I think they are allowing tech. to move much too fast ahead of caring about side effects, but you can only do so much. Well, I don't really know what to think on aliens and all that, although I've read those type things too. What they are could be that, or they could be what I and other lean to, experiments that have odd outcomes, and possibly some of both. It doesn't really matter what they are, either way, it's not hard to just discount those parts, or religious bits you don't agree with and just extract what is useful info. to yourself at the time.
