Re: How to disable smart appliance

Can you return it?  You can check youtube say "remove chip from smart TV".  I check everything now before I buy.  I have year limits as for washer or dryer before 2010, as after that they all have chips. I call the company to make sure what ever it is has no type of wireless chip, before purchase. Maybe too you can look into trading it with someone who has a non chipped appliance, someone who just does not "get it" or "understand" and would be happier than a pig in... to have your smart appliance rather than their non smart appliance. CL is a good place to advertise your desire to trade or maybe through people you know or work with.

Used is my new motto. I have noticed recent interviews w/ big stars who say they only buy vintage from thrift stores. I just went through that with pjs. The new is poorly made, bad fabrics that will have to probably outgas or something.  The numbers wear off on the new landline phones in a weeks time and of course many are gald to get a buck [actually lots of big bucks] for their old phones as they went wireless.

In the last few years they have begun to allow radioactive waste metal to be used in consumer products, boy that makes a nice companion to RF emissions.

Hope something here helps for what it's worth.
