Housing

Thanks Loni and Roger,

I have posted on craigslist periodically during the past two years, but will try again. I did notice that people who do not advertise sometimes read those and will respond if they think you are a good fit. And I don't tell them everything in the ad...I wait until we talk by phone or meet.

I have also looked into shared house situations. In the past, I shared two houses with chemically sensitive women. For us, it worked fine because the less sensitive person was willing to adapt to the more sensitive person. I also had one healthy person who was willing to adapt for me. (but I had to move out 5 weeks later when she set the kitchen on fire...the smoke damage was too much for my MCS) I've spent 3 periods living in my car because I could find no other safe place to go. Because housing is so expensive here, they pack so many people into houses. It's hard to get more than 1 or 2 to accomodate you. But I continue to consider everything, including relocation.
