Help - Two Questions

furstc0404-2

Questions for a friend who is unable to use computers.

1. Are there any MP3s or radios are very low frequency???
He is very very sensitive.

2. Is it possible to develop sensitivities also to old fashion
phones? If yes, which would be the telephone or if possible to
get some type of protective cable for the old fashion phone?

Many thanks

Old fashion telephones can be a problem for electrosensitives.
In that case a piezo telephones can be advised.

Most radios *with a wire* do contain a transformer, which gives magnetic
fields.
In that case a radio with batteries can be advised.

That is in dutch, but it gives you an impression.

I think that a 2 cm radio is too close to the body.
Try a normal one, and place it farther away, like 2 meters.

Re: Help - Two Questions

BiBrun
There are some speakerphones that don't plug into the AC power that may be
OK. Filtering the phoneline may help. A paper cup with a hole over the
bottom may be taped to the phone so it is not so close to the ear. You
could also try mu metal around the phone's speaker...

Perhaps you could ask where those piezo telephones are sold in the UK.

PUK replies - MP3s are a problem for me after say 15mins use, I simply want
to tear the headphones off despite enjoying the music. I put this down to
the EMF pulses and spikes that are emitted by the headphones, any speaker
type device that uses electromagnets will do this, perhaps using a very
good quality old tape walkman would be better, less electronics ? As for
radios I dont have a problem with these as I am never more than 500mm from
these and obviously listen via the external speaker, but generally only use
battery powered ones.

As for old landline phones, I have had a problem with these for over 10yrs,
holding the handset to my ear cuases strangley enough a stinging sensation
which is more pronounced on the otherside of my head, the usual fuzziness
also occurs along with slower speech. I took an old speaker phone and
modified it by taking out the microphone and extending it onto a long wire then
attaching the mic to a small wooden pencil (non conductive)as a holder,
this worked well as I could get my distance from the telephone and the
socket, but still hear the caller very well. I have since found a speaker phone
that has such good quality sound that I dont need the extender to use it as
the mic is very sensitive. I found that one of the reasons I could not
tolerate landline phones, - one they use a spaeker in the handset which
osscilates/pulses every time the caller speaks (that may include disturbing
background sounds as well) two, I found as most people on the site may recall
that my telephone cabling and my house wiring are contaminated to a VERY
excessive degree with the with low frequency signal emissions from a Plasma
TV over the road ! The signal seems unbelievably adept at crossing over and
coupling to anything conductive ( we must all be in a big circuit) so the
phone was litterally transfering this into my head and body, I hasten to
say that this phenomenon may have increased my ES exponentially over the last
few years, despite ironically working from home ( no more offices!) so
watch out as telephone lines more so than the actual telephone ie landline
type can be the harbinger of untold emissions ! Using a wireless phone a
least gives you a gap from this, but then gives you another problem.

We get many inquiries from people who are too sensitive to use a standard
telephone handset. We recommend using a corded phone which has a jack for a
headset. Then add an air tube headset with as many extension cords as
necessary. See http://www.lessemf.com/es.html#725
