Help/Husband just lost job

My husband just got layed off & I am on appeal for disability. What can I do to get some money coming in? Loni

Apply for some government assistance programs such as:
HEAP- this will help with your gas bill
Lifeline- this will help with your phone bill
Food stamps- self explanatory-through job & family services

Google the words heap and lifeline for more info.
