Heart Healing

KathyB

I saw this Dr. interviewed & reveals the test w blocked artery & unblocked to prove it.
And had a guest, the 1st man to heal-recovered who needed a transplant. W/o the changes he would have died waiting.
This is for those to prevent. Some w heart disease may need professional treatment.
I would read this if I had heat disease.

Excerpt from Prevent and
Reverse  Heart Disease by Caldwell B.
Esselystn, Jr. MD

You must not eat meat or milk

Must not consume oil of any kind,
not a drop (Yes, you devotees of the Mediterranean Diet, that includes   olive oil, as I’ll explain in Chapter 10)

Generally, you cannot et nust or
avocados.

You can eat a wonderful variety
of delicious nutrient -dense foods:

All vegetables except
avocado:  Leafy green vegetables, root,
veggies that are

Red, green purple, orange, &
yelled & everything in between

All legumes – beans, peas, and lentils all varieties

All whole grains and products,
such as bread and pasta, that are made from them –as long as they do n t contain
added fats.

All fruits

It works in the first continuous  12 yr study of the effects of
nutrition in severely ill patients which I will describe in this book, those
who complied with my program achieved total arrest of

Clinical progression and
significant selective reversal of coronary artery disease.  In fully compliant patients, we have seen
angina disappear in a few weeks, and abnormal stress test results return to
normal.

And consider the case of Joe
Crowe.  After his heat attack in 1997,
tests showed that the entire lower third of his left anterior descending
coronary artery,  the vessel leading to
the front of the heart and nicknamed, for oblivious reasons, - the widowmaker” –was
significantly diseased..  His coronary artery anatomy excluded him as a candidate for surgical bypass, angioplasty, or
stents, and at such a young age, with a wife and three small children, Dr.
Crowe was understandably disconsolate and depressed.  Since he already exercised, did not use
tobacco, and had a relatively lowcholesterol count of 156 mg/dL, there seemed
to be nothing he could modify, no obvious reforms in lifestyle that might halt
the disease.

About  two weeks after his heart attack, he and his
wife came to dinner, I had a chance to share details of my research.. Both Joe
and Mary Ann grasped the implications for Joe on  a plant based diet.. All at once , instead of
having no options, they were empowered.
Immediately, Joe embarked on my nutrition program , refusing to take any
cholesterol lowering drugs, and he redefined the word commitment.   He stuck to the plan vigorously, eventually
reducing his total blood cholesterol count to just 89 and cutting his LDL or “bad
cholesterol from 98 to 38 mg/
I would assume the cholesterol is lowered this much to help pass the blockage.
Blessings, Kathy

That is a dangerously low cholesterol level. He is headed towards other health problems-depression, muscle problems, possibly cancer. Avoiding all fats is foolish and not healthy.

Re: Heart Healing

furstc0404-2

I heard Dr Caldwell a few weeks back either on KPFK or NPR.
I didn't agree with a lot of his theories...
When probed about some his theories, there
was no response.

About cholesterol, its been debunked years ago,
Big Pharma jumped on this theory for statins and
other dangerous meds.

Cholesterol plays a very important part, here is a good
article of many concerning cholesterol:  http://metabolichealing.com/key-integrated-functions-of-your-body/cardiovascular/cholesterol-is-an-antioxidant-and-free-radical-scavenger/?stage=Live

A heart attack can be caused by many other things, and cholesterol
is at the bottom of the ladder, homocyeistine level is much more indicative
as are other tests. (IMHO)
