How about trying something different? I was looking up somethng for a friend and came upon this really insightful article.
Having used Iodine for the past 3-4 years....and having done a ton of research on it, some of this information was stuff I hadn't come across before.
A suggestion would be to dilute the Iodine in water and try applying it topically, on the area. Didn't you say you could "feel" the lump?
Its something to consider.

Subject: [eSens] Health test question
Is there a less invasive test to see a bone spur on the skull? The doctor wants a CT.
I have to look into this. It's effecting nerves in that area.
