I see that we've gotten several newcomers to eSens recently --
welcome to the group!
Since people with electrical sensitivity may not be able to use the
computer for long periods of time, I'm wondering how newcomers
are catching up with old postings? (perhaps they are not?)
In the "Files" area, we have messages in text files grouped in
batches of 500, which covers the first 2500 messages posted
to this group (we're now up to over 7000 messages). So new
members can download these, and even print them out to avoid
much computer exposure. Also, we probably could find a way
to make some more of these archives if people are finding
them useful.
Alternately, one could go to the YahooGroups page for "eSens",
and you could search the archives for whatever terms interest you:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/eSens/Going through the web interface to read the messages one-by-one
seems like the worst option, as you have to wait for each message
to download, plus there is advertising everywhere.
I also see that there is a shareware program available called "PG Offline",
which has a free 30-day evaluation period, and this allows you to
download the contents of entire groups (unattended), and then
you can later rapidly go through the messages which are now
stored on your hard drive (with no ads, either). You can also use
the "digest" feature to show multiple messages in the same
window, and then print the digests out for reading away from
the computer. You can download "PG Offline" from the following
website:

minutes using my 1.5mbps DSL connection...
