Hello Estelle,
Your post reminded me of several things. Through Next-Up.org I have received photos of an ES sanctuary in France (called The White Zone). In one of the photos they showed someone at an outdoor stone fountain with their hands under the water coming out of the spigot, and their bare feet standing in a puddle of water on stone. They called it "discharge", as in discharging the excess electrical energy. The earth tether mattress pads will ground you as well, and you are sleeping on them for 7-9 hours. Cordless phones are often just as harmful as cell phones. Especially if it is a DECT phone. Someone in this group posted a reference to www.rewire.me. Check it out, and find the picture of Sarah Dacre, a woman in the UK who is ES. She wears a beekeepers regalia when she is out of her protected apartment to fend off emf. She doesn't need it in her apt. because she has painted the walls with a protective shielding paint. Where can I get these garments? Anyone know the specific fabric content necessary to shield? I know www.lessemf.com has some fabric, but I haven't checked lately to see if they have veiled headgear. Lightly, Lily [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Hi,
I notice that I always feel better when I am in water, such as a swimming pool. I have so much more energy there than outside the water. Does this have anything to do with grounding? Also, I seem to feel better if I sleep on the floor with just a few pillowsunder me, even better than on an air mattress. Is this caused by groundingor how can you explain this? Has anybody else noticed anything similar to this? Any feedback well appreciated. Thanks, Cheryl --- On Thu, 12/10/09, Latifah T <[hidden email]> wrote: From: Latifah T <[hidden email]> Subject: [eSens] Grounding To: [hidden email] Date: Thursday, December 10, 2009, 10:13 AM Hello Estelle, Your post reminded me of several things. Hi Cheryl,
I too noticed that I feel better in water, even if it's just in the shower. I'm so sensitive right now perhaps I need to live in a rain forest., LOL Estelle [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

I have so much more energy there than outside the water. Negative ions are emitted from water and plants to name a few and make us feel good. While positive ions which can be produced by a number of things one of them being man made electronics can make us feel depressed and with low energy. <<<<Also, I seem to feel better if I sleep on the floor with just a few pillows under me, even better than on an air mattress. Is this caused by grounding or how can you explain this?>>> A plastic mattress can produce some static electricity which ive always found bothersome, also a plastic mattress is an insultaor so if your floor hassome conductive connection to the ground the mattress will be impeding it. Spring mattreses are also bad though the springs can have a magnetic fieldsand the springs are said to distort the earths natural magnetic field. I personally sleep on a 100% natural latex mattress and I did feel a nice difference over sleeping on a spring one. A cheap futton also works nicely. -Cristian |

Hi Estelle,
Thanks for your quick reply. Good to know that I am not alone with this feeling. Please let me know if you figure out what causes this reaction to water. At least it is something positive - that is great news. I think a rain forest would do me good too. I always feel better when I cansleep outside - safety and weather conditions permitting is not usual for me. Rare chance I have the opportunity. Hi Cristian,
Thank you for the info. It makes sense to me and I will keep your suggestion in mind. I will go back to sleeping on the pillows and see what happens. I never thought an air mattress could be harmful as I was avoiding springs which I knew was best to avoid if possible. Yes, I recently switched from a spring mattress to a latex one, and I think it is slightly better from an ES standpoint. Also, I had no offgassing problems from it... just some firmness / back discomfort issues... (should have gotten the firmer version) Marc |
Water can shield in two ways: conductivity due to ions
(unless it's distilled pure water) and dielectric response. It also absorbs in the microwave frequencies. Wet skin is more conductive, which will reduce penetration of electric and RF fields (but will increase the amount of energy deposited in the skin). Sleeping low to the ground is good for avoiding microwaves. If the floor is actually conductive (like concrete w/ rebar) then there can be low electric field in the middle of the room at the floor, although it depends on wiring. If there are wires in the ceiling (which is common) the floor is the best bet (or turn off the power). But grounding isn't always a good thing. Metal that is connected to a single earth ground is safest. When it is connected to earth and to the power company neutral, you get ground currents. Grounding yourself doesn't seem like a good idea to me, although if you are in a place with no man-made fields and no large metal objects, you will carry a measurable DC charge if electrically in contact with the earth. I suspect this is why Tai-Chi is often done outdoors.
