I just got a great phone from Panasonic, the KXTS105, for $30. It has
a great speaker phone and headset jack. It does not use AC, only
batteries. The speaker is high quality, I think I will not use the
headset. I tried ATT but the speaker didn't work with DSL. I had to
order the phone from the Panasonic web site. They have other models
of corded phones with the same speaker.
