Grateful to have found you!

Hi! I'm a new member from Hudson, WI. My EMF Sensitivity became
grossly obvious last May of '05. I guess I consider it a mixed
blessing since it allowed me to realize why I had been feeling so Gawd-
awful for months prior to that and also because I recognize that so
many others unknowingly suffer from it. I am seeking support,
help/guidance from those of you on this site and hope to provide these
things to you as well. Sensitive to cell phones, cell towers, cordless
phones and land phones, computer mouse and tower, powerlines (on the
road & underground), circuit breaker boxes, electric stove, and my
refrigerator & toaster when I am really 'twanged' with sensitivity
characterized by many things but predominantly specific types of focal
and diffuse head pain. Are any of you from around Hudson, WI?

Hi! Christine I am Sheila who has the extreme sensitivity to cellphones-
   
other peoples cellphones w/in 4-5 feet or less next to me when they have them on (not even when theyre in use)
   
what ever the signal is (still looking high tech meter to dect cellphone "signal" that other people cellphone phones are on, even when not in use) &
   
when around them, the cellphone causes my LEFT temple area to THROB & state of confusion is SEVERE & havent been able to go out much, & very hard tolive a normal life & thank God able to work PT as receptionist/medical biller in the evening when in the office by myself &
   
at home no cellphone zone & wonderin your sensitivities OR solutions! Mine lately besides herbal remedy is when went for EEG a couple mths ago was found normal including the short 15 minute test w/cellphone in the room in which i didnt experience the pain &
   
then i was told the EEG electrodes were gold plated!! this brought & ideathat i've been using & seems to work is small bandage w/gold/copper platedwasher i put on my head during exposure & has been working!!! reflecting the signal OFF away from my temple area & NO PAIN!!! for now is working & hopin/praying cont's same

are?

Sheila, Sorry so late w/ response. I try not to use computer daily.  
Thank you for the great idea - I will try it! I am finding some
relief with the shielding fabric (silver coated up to 60db reduction)
from LessEMF. I tie the fabric around my head as a scarf - I have
also noted that wearing the EMF silver lining shirt from Less EMF is
also helpful in protecting from undeniable EMF induced R sided under
armpit pain radiating thru R side breast. Also, I had received a
pocket shield with my order of an airtube headset for my cellphone.  
The pocket shield is basically silver coated mesh that has been
laminated. Tucked under a baseball cap on the affected side of my
head when I use the computer, greatly reduces the onset and degree of
discomfort associated with computer use. I am sorry to hear of the
severity of your sensitivity it looks as though I am heading that way
too. An obvious tip: Limit your EMF exposure and shield yourself and
sensitivity will be reduced. God bless you too! Christine from

Sheila, I cannot find a post from you answering Paul's question.
Sorry if it's there & I missed it - if so, pls tell me message #. I
am excited by your washer idea, tickled that it works, & hopeful that
it is still working. Even if it is not. pls let us know and please
tell us: 1) size of the washer!!!, 2) where you got the washer -
hardware store?, 3) what do you mean by 'gold/copper' plated - did it
come with gold and copper plate? did you have it plated with gold? -
4) how do you attach it to your head - what type of bandage -
specifics please, 5) do you think the washer could be hot-glued to
the underside &/or topside of a hair clip/snappy barrette? I think I
might be able to find a copper washer - although Menard's did not
have them.
-You gave me an idea-I bought heavier gauge copper wire with the idea
of weaving it into a headband or weaving it into designs to wear as
clips. I really would like to know not only the size of your washer-
I'm also interested in the size of the opening in the middle- It
would be helpful in helping me determine approx allowable space in my
copper weave that would remain effective.
-By the way, I've heard of a metallic taste in the mouth as being
symptomatic of ES, however, that is one symptom I have not had
untill...I bought the copper wiring, had it in my hands in the car
and then had distinct, strong metal taste in my mouth which lasted
for quite a while - as if I had put my fingers in my mouth after
handing the wire (which I had not done!)I have not worked with the
copper wire since, because I'm not sure what this means. Any ideas??
I'd like to solve this riddle too. Does it have to do with the
conductive property of copper, and if so, as an ES-why/how would it

My opinion is that the "metallic taste" symptom is due to
mobilization of cellular heavy metals (mercury, aluminum,
lead, copper, etc.) into the bloodstream. Probably a
good sign that one is in need of some form of heavy
metal detox.

the bandage is a Large bandaid i have/ cont to use in public (around anyone cellphone exposure) & great idea re: copper wire barrette & thanks for info/ideas!
   
I also have looked into the SAUNA at the gym i go to & have been trying to fequent to rid/detox METALS, inc the Mercury, since believe have been Floride free for yrs &
