Hi, all. I'm on that quest where it's very important for me to find the right balance of the right nutrients, & inevitably, mistakes will be made along the way, so I am trying to minimize the potential for damage & maximize the potential for getting better. My psychiatrist, who has an easy time recognizing the Lyme as chronic b/c he doesn't have to treat it, plugged the Vitamin D in light of my MS-like symptoms, so a few times over the last year, I've taken megadoses of Vitamin D drops (50,000 to 100,000 IU cholecalciferol), NOT KNOWING that Vitamin D toxicity can occur & cause "overcalcification of the bones, soft tissues, heart and kidneys," even months after megadoses have been ingested. I'm pretty upset that he didn't tell me this, considering that I get really sick from calcium supplements, & calcium ions leak out of the cells in electrosensitive patients, cooking their connective tissue, organs, nervous system, etc. If I get too much
calcium, I feel like I'm "foaming at the mouth" in my skull & brain stem, & my whole body feels like a foot that's waking up from having fallen asleep. This may be related to the Bart, which is just as vascular a problem as it is neurologic, & it deposits fat cells right into the heart. My rxn to calcium has ALWAYS been that way, long before I got EI or knew I had Lyme. The LAST thing I need is more calcium, so I'm going to hold off on the Vitamin D for awhile, or atleast, dramatically reduce my dose. This brings me to the following question: have any Lymies or EI's tried EDTA to clean out their arteries? (http://self-fundingdr.com/images/popup%20ADs/10%20X%2010%20EDTA.pdf) If so, what dose did you take, & what was your experience? (I've avoided it b/c it's a heavy metal chelator, & I don't think I'd want to clean out my arteries that fast). *More importantly, has anyone tried to SLOWLY reduce overcalcification problems in their bones, heart, soft tissue, kidneys etc., & if so, what was your process & what did you experience? Thanks very much :) Love & blessings, Elysia [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Hi Elysia
I have that problem too - and for me it can happen with much lower dosages of Vit D than you have been taking - so I am stopping the vit D temporarily but did you ever get any feedback from anyone in response to your question of how to reduce over calcification problems?? Of all the electrosensitives I have measured, I found that they did not have an over calcification, but a chronic shortage of Calcium, plus an extra Calcium loss.
If you take the Algaecall Plus, you get organic Calcium, plus Vitamin D3 plus K2, who will see, that the Calcium gets in the right places in the body. You did not look at my 30points plan? Vitamin K2 and Magnesium will keep the calcium from depositing where it doesn't belong.
