Some months ago I decided to give something a try, and it seemed to help. Then ran out, and only recently have been able to give it a go
again, but it does seem to help clear the head from some of the brain fog. The 1st combination of supplements I tried (previous to this experiment) was DMAE and PABA, taken together they have been shown to reduce the brown sludge that builds up in the brain, although the info. was directed more towards Alzheimer's. I tried that, and found, as others had that maybe it helps but taking it seemed to make the brain fog much worse. My thought is it was while the stuffwas being removed, but since the effects would last a few days even after taking, that wasn't working for me. Somehow I came up with the idea of adding to DHEA to the combo. Being it, and DMAE are both for supporting the adrenals, besides ACTH, and I always need adrenal help anyway. I just read recently some here are noticing an increase in symptoms using licorice or DHEA. I haven't experienced that with licorice, and not taken DHEA on it's own in years, so I don't know on that. Perhaps adding the DMAE & PABA to that will help balance it out? Anyway, taking these three together, I seem to get a much clearer brain, right now I only am taking them once every two - three days, and will see if gradually working up causes any troubles. But, there it is for anyone that wants to give it a go. :) ~ Snoshoe |
