Are you sure that the reaction you were having to fish oil was not one of it
detoxing something?
I believe, if my understanding is correct, that fish oil can break down fat
reserves in your body, releasing toxins stored in them.
Hi Diane and thanks for the welcome to the group : )
I can't go on the computer much for obvious reasons, so I apologize to you
and others for the tardiness of my responses.
I don't think it's a detox but rather something screwy with my immune
system. I have tried miniscule doses of fish oil and gotten this terrible
flu-like reaction, but I never did before the first very big dose of a really
potent fish oil.
I had previously taken a good health food store fish oil and had no help with
the e sens but no flu like symptoms.
When I first took an "overdose" of the strong fish oil, it gave me
fluish symptoms for about 4 months! From one dose!
That's interesting about effects fish oil might have on fat reserves.
I was told fish oil can help e sens because it improves the integrity of the
cell membrane and thus reduces the erratic over reaction of neurons.
Best to you,
Stephanie
