Hi everyone,
Over the past few months, I've developed a rather frustrating habit: I seem to get enough sleep, but I still often don't feel properly rested in the morning. During the week, I usually go to bed at around the same time and get up at a fixed time in the morning. I also try not to disrupt my routine too much on weekends.
Even so, I often feel as though I'm not getting the rest I need. It's particularly noticeable on days when I spend a lot of time working at a computer. I'm tired in the evening, but once I get into bed, it sometimes takes me a while to properly unwind. And even when I fall asleep without any problems, I don't always feel refreshed the next morning.
That's why I've started looking into the sleep environment. I've adjusted the temperature in my bedroom, tried better blackout options, and made an effort to spend less time in front of screens in the evening. Some of these changes have helped to a certain extent, but I haven't noticed any consistent improvement so far.
While looking for other options, I came across
Somavedic. These devices are marketed in connection with well-being, living spaces, and the sleep environment. I find approaches like this interesting, but before potentially buying one, I'd like to hear more about other people's experiences with them.
What I'm particularly curious about is whether devices like these actually make a noticeable difference in everyday life, or whether simple changes to the bedroom environment are enough to achieve most of the benefits.
