Emil in the news!

Emil at Less EMF Inc
On February 5, Emil DeToffol, founder and CEO of Less EMF Inc. was interviewed by John Stossel of ABC's hit news
program 20/20.

Microwave radiation from cell phones and the detrimental effects it has on our bodies was discussed. At this point
it is still not clear if the producers will give serious air time to this important issue, or if they will portray
the topic with their characteristic skepticism.

Emil spent several hours wiht the production staff both before and after the taping, educating them about the vast
amount of research that by now clearly draws a correlation between microwaving our bodies and health risk... and
how cell phones are the strongest source of microwave radiation an average person is likely to encounter. Some
strategies for protection we discussed.

The program, which is scheduled to air on Feb 23, will contain other unrelated topics. I hope you can tune in.

Best regards,

Emil DeToffol

The ABC News reporter Brian Ross has done a few serious telecasts
regarding cell phone hazards, but John Stossel is a notorious skeptic
mainly interested in pushing his own agenda. I would be surprised if
this turns out unbiased.

Hi John,

You are right. I will not be surprised if the editing only makes me look foolish. But the blood will be on his
hands... even if my own is mixed in.

Hi Emil,
I just wanted to commend you for putting yourself out there, even at the
risk of being made to look foolish. It's so important that this information
be made known to the general public. I look forward to the program.

Cheers, Julie

unfortunately, I have to second John's appraisal of John Stossell. It is
just amazing that this man has not been fired, as he is (or was, not sure)
*literally* on the payroll of industries on which he reported (and this was/is
during his tenure at 20/20, cant get more confilict of interest than that) .
Also, he had to do an "on air" apology regarding lying and saying that
organic produce had *more* pesticides and other noxious stuff on it than
conventionally produced. He outright made it up; the data showed just the opposite.
Yet, as I say, he was not fired!!
So, Stossell is an industry schill par excellence (though he markets
himself as "sticking up for the little guy").
I hope they do a fair piece on cell phone radiation, but I would be
surprised. Stephanie
