Emil, Need shielding fabric got questions

K
Hi Emil and everyone else too:)

I made a hooded cape out of the soft and safe to protect from the EMF's while traveling and shopping. However it is really warm to wear for the summer. I would like to make some hooded shirts out of a cooler fabric but with higher protection if possible. What kind would you recommend? I've forgotten what you've said about the Argen mesh, if that's wearable against the skin.

THanks,
Kris

There is always a trade off.
For lighter weight (cooler) and high shielding, use High Performance Silver
Mesh http://www.lessemf.com/fabric.html#1222

That is a nice fabric. You should also get a sample of
veil shield from them. I would not expect them to be
very comfortable on a hot day though. They will keep
heat in. The material used in the silver scarf they sell
might have the best airflow, but I found after about a month
of wear it was no longer very useful.

The natura-sheild fabric might be more comfortable.
You could try to perforate it between the conducting
fibers. But it's conducting on the outside so there's
no way to get conductivity across the seams... you'd
have to have at least a couple inches overlap at each
seam, maybe more like 4 inches, sewn tightly together.

I do have a spool of that conductive thread to use for the seams.
Thanks Emil and Bill I appreciate your inputs.
