Greetings everyone,
I may be in a position which would require the assistance of a vehicle
with some power other than only my feet to get back and forth between
places. I don't have a driver's license for a car, and a moped may be
too much of a hassle to go through the road test and acquire insurance...
...so I was thinking about an electric bike. I'm a bit confused about
how much of a problem that the batteries and of course the electric
fields from them are.
A battery is direct current, correct? And does this mean that it's
less biologically problematic than an alternating current?
Has anyone here had experience with an electric bike, and did you have
trouble with them?
How easy is it to test the fields from them, how high are they, do
they transfer to other parts of the bike, and - can you shield them? I
assume you can shield them, generally electric fields are one of the
easiest to block, but I'd like to know...
Thanks for everyone's help!
Best,
R.
