Effective Treatments for ES

Catherine
I recently started treatment for ES with Dr Damien Downing.  He gave me an information sheet on effective treatments which he is kindly making freely available.

Treating Electrosensitivity

For some years now I have been noting the measures that help people with ES. There are a number of them, and they are generally the same things that help sufferers from classical allergies, food intolerances and multiple chemical sensitivities.

We are often contacted by people with electrosensitivity, but we rarely get the opportunity to treat them, because their focus is on the phone mast, the introduction of 5G or whatever the EMF source is, and they struggle to think beyond that about addressing what goes on in their own body. I am also aware that consulting me for this has a high financial bar for someone who finds it difficult to work due to ES.
So I am making this short info sheet freely available. It lists the top ten treatments or measures that have been reported to work in some people, that it makes scientific sense that they should work, and that will do no harm. Probably none of these will work on their own, you should combine as many as you can.
If you try something on its own and feel no better, you can’t assume it doesn’t work – it may be “necessary but not sufficient”. None will work for everybody, we are all individuals.
Trying all of these for 3 months is certainly safe. After that you would need a review before going further.

Remediate/reduce all EMF sources
At absolute minimum clean up your sleeping environment (no phones, no screens, no wifi)
And no screens, no TV, no blue light for 2 hours before sleeping

Restore Circadian rhythm
We need both daylight and darkness. See my article Let there be light at; http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v20n06.shtml
Start with Andrew Hubermann’s morning ritual; https://youtu.be/gR_f-iwUGY4? si=8fqLzit0Ibr6dzkr
In short; outdoors within an hour of waking, with no lenses, look up at the sky not the sun, for at least 5 minutes if sunny, longer if cloudy. Can be combined with melatonin-inducing exercise, of course, and with earthing.
At night reduce light levels and stop screen use well before intended sleep. The supplements listed below are supportive of normal sleep, general health and resistance to stresses like EMFs.

Diet
What is now called an Anti-inflammatory Diet, which is low in carbs but rich in healthy oils.
Supplements daily
Vitamin D3 6-8,000 IU
Vitamin K2 3-400 mcgs
Zinc  25-30 mgs
Glutathione 500mgs
Vitamin B5 50-100 mgs
Vitamin B complex approx 50mgs of each
Vitamin B12 2.5 mgs transdermal spray, daily or alternate days

Melatonin
Supplements are OK to take, even high doses if tolerated, and taken at night will help with sleep and brain function. (Melatonin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK).
There are useful amounts in pistachio nuts, Goji berries, walnuts, oily fish and bananas; sounds like an interesting recipe!
But it is best to optimise all your own cells’ production;
20 minutes exercise (reasonably vigorous but not exhausting) outdoors in the morning will do that for the whole body. Red light therapy (PBM) will do the same.

Detoxification
At least heavy metals and glyphosate should be assumed to be present and needing removal.
There are various methods available.

Photobiomodulation (PBM)
Red & infrared light (approx 660nm and 810nm) by mat or other device, as much as you like but at least 30 minutes daily.
If using a small light-mat, try applying it on the lower back over the adrenals, and/or at the top of the chest over the thymus gland. If using a whole body mat, this question does not arise.
What I can understand is that light, particularly near infrared because it penetrates further, gives your cells a boost of energy, so they can do everything that bit better.
There is also an emerging principle that good radiation (what we get from sunlight) can protect against the effects of bad radiation (wifi, mobiles, TV screens etc).

Vagal stimulation
The autonomic nervous system determines how we perceive and process pain and danger signals. In MCS and ES the danger signals flood in, so the sympathetic nervous system is on full alert. The parasympathetic, which is principally the vagus nerve needs to be supported and stimulated on a regular basis. There are several methods. Start with singing or chanting or praying (it’s why cats purr, probably). There are several devices on the market.

Earthing
See elsewhere for plenty of advice on this

Zeta support
Zeta potential is the amount of negative charge on our cells, particularly red blood cells; as “like repels like”, when all your cells have a good negative charge they cannot clump together, and flow much better through the capillaries. To optimise this, you need a good intake of pure water (definitely not London tapwater), avoidance of harmful foods and sugars, and an anionic electrolyte supplement such as formulated by Dr TC McDaniel.
There is more info at Zetaaid.com. I cannot yet claim to have adequately roadtested this.

Microimmunotherapy
This technique "speaks the language of the immune system" – the messenger molecules such as cytokines and interleukins.
These are taken as capsules – open the capsule, pour the contents under your tongue and allow to dissolve, and throw away the outer.
In ES the formulation MIREG (stands for mitochondrial regulation) should be taken for at least three months.
It does not conflict with any other treatments.
