Actually, when I first started taking CELLFOOD, I also got sharp winces of pain in my head, even at doses as small as one drop at a time. However, there were so many other obvious benefits to me in terms of energy, eyesight, etc. that I just kept at it, and eventually built up my tolerance up for it. At one point I was taking as much as 60 drops a day, and its one of the supplements that I've taken and benefited from continuously for years. I've noticed that now that my eye is rather sensitive from the Lecithin incident, my choline tablets also cause a slight problem with that eye (choline is another component in lecithin). I may just stick with my inositol / choline tables instead of taking lecithin, or I may try Lecithin derived from egg yolks and see if there is a difference in side effects. Marc |

Hi, Marc and Alison,
I get the eye pain from alot of things. I also get a sharp pain in the right side of my head from alot of things. One thing which caused these lately was riboflavin. I am beginning to think (from what I have read on various sites) that these pains are liver detox pathway overload symptoms. What I mean is, I think that the symptom is brought on by one of the pathways not being able to handle detoxification. (riboflavin might be in abundance, but you need molybdenum and other things with it, for instance.... or riboflavin will try to speed phase 1 but if you don't have phase 2 working, then you might get a headache or eye pain.) I have read that headache and eye pain are both related to liver function and found it interesting that taking the ribo caused it because docs are using high dose ribo now to treat migraine headaches. (But in my case, what I was doing was trying riboflavin for tremors and detoxing.) Just my 2 cents, Diane Alison Williams <[hidden email]> wrote: Hi Marc Good to hear from you. I have no issue with the Lecithin at all but funnily enough I get that problem with my eye when I take 'cellfood'. Didnt wantt o mention it as after the tongue incident, i thought you might all think I was nuts. My eye feels like the nerve has been effected and doesnt want to open fully..its very odd. i noticed the first time it went off in a matter of hours but unfotunately the second time, it lasted 2 days so beware...
