Hello,
I do not agree. Name: BioElectric Shield Expr: No noticeable effects after two weeks of use Rslt: '0' We found very good working. But after 6 months, sucked up negative energy and started to emit it. Three days on a Purple Plate *charged it up again. The Nabat. I got from somebody who did not feel any working. With my wife it worked very well. So the classification is not what it should be. >So the classification is not what it should be. Well, everyone seems to react to these products differently, so any list of items needs to take that into account. The BioElectric Shield didn't seem to do anything for me either, although I did notice a heart-palpitation of two from it... Marc |
Hello Marc,
we must find some sort of classification. It will not be easy, but necessary. Remember, the working of those *things* depend also on the degree of electrosensibility. If your degree is too high, than no such things will help. Sorry, but I cant keep quite!
I'm sure there is a *BIG* amount of placebo effect to! greetings Anders Eriksson Charles wrote: > Hello Marc, > > we must find some sort of classification. > It will not be easy, but necessary. > > Remember, the working of those *things* depend also on the degree of > electrosensibility. > If your degree is too high, than no such things will help. > > Greetings, > Charles Claessens > member Verband Baubiologie > www.milieuziektes.nl > www.hetbitje.nl > checked by Norton Antivirus > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Marc Martin" <[hidden email]> > To: <[hidden email]> > Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 16:16 > Subject: Re: [eSens] ES mitigation device list > > > >>>I do not agree. >>>So the classification is not what it should be. >> >>Well, everyone seems to react to these products differently, so any list > > of > >>items needs to take that into account. I would say that the placebo effect is very small.
We have a wide range of products to choose from. The results are different. On the other hand, a *state of mind* can do a lot also. But that has nothing to do with placebo. Read the book *The Field* by Lynne McTaggart. Charles and all,
The listings I submitted only takes into account my experience with the devices mentioned. They aren't meant to be a definitive report. That is why I'm looking for others to submit listings on the same devices, along with listings for other devices they've used that aren't on the list, and their experiences with them. Then we will collect all the responses for each device into a summary record in the database and a detail file archived in the Files area. Beau |

> I would say that the placebo effect is very small.
I don't think I've ever observed a placebo effect -- most of the times when I try a new item, I *want* it to work, but it doesn't. Or it causes an adverse reaction that I certainly wouldn't be wishing for! Also, there are times when I *thought* I was using a device (and thus the placebo effect would apply), but then after noting unusual adverse EMF symptoms, I would realize that I had forgotten to bring it with me (or turn it on). Also, my cats react to these devices in a repeatable manner, and I don't think they are having a placebo reaction! The one problem I have noticed it that sometimes when you have a reaction, it may take a few days to figure out what the *real* cause of that reaction is. Sometimes you might attribute a reaction to a device, but upon repeated experiences you find that the reaction really came from a food or a supplement. > We have a wide range of products to choose from. > The results are different. Yes indeed -- I've found that different products cause their own unique reactions (both good and bad), and these reactions are repeatable from day to day. Also, each device seems to be good for some situations but not others, or can be improved by experimenting with placement (e.g, either on you or on the EMF source). As for the list of mitigation devices, I've tried so many that I wouldn't know where to start! Marc |

Please reply to the group and append to this list I don't think it's a good idea to APPEND to the list in replies, as we'll just keep getting larger and larger messages, most of it a repeat of something we've seen before. It would seem to me that one person should add to the file offline, while the group members simply post any additions they'd like to make. Marc |
Hi, Marc,
The idea behind appending to the email was to keep all the data in one place, so to speak, thereby avoiding having to go through lots of separate emails. The list data compiler then could just go to the latest version of this thread and see the entire collection of submissions. I didn't intend this email thread to be the main source of public info, just a list to assist the data compiler. (I could have been clearer about this. I was just trying to get out of the starting gate with the project.) Also, listing submitters can skip giving redundant info that has already been given in a previous submission -- e.g., the device description and vendor -- and just identify the devices and their experiences with them. I'm up for whatever will facilitate getting the list together and bring what everyone feels is a viable rating system to it. So if this won't work, let's use a different approach. :) I'm looking forward to everybody participating. Thanks, Beau --- In [hidden email], "Marc Martin" <marc@u...> wrote: > > It looks like the survey idea is a go, so I'll start the list of > > devices. Hi all,
I'll start by adding my thoughts on the initial devices that Beau listed, which I have also tried, and then add the items which I am currently using. This still leaves out a LOT of other items I've tried, with varying results... ================================ Name: BioElectric Shield (cheapest model) Expr: No noticeable effect, even after several months use Rslt: '0' ================================ Name: QLink (cheapest model) Expr: No noticeable effect, even after several months use Rslt: '0' ================================ Name: Teslar Watch Expr: No noticeable effect, even after several months use Rslt: '0' ================================ Name: Tachyonized Silica Disk (4-inch) Expr: When placed above headboard of bed, caused severe headaches in the middle of the night. When placed on fusebox, no noticeable effect. When placed behind CRT monitor, no noticeable effect. Rslt: '-' ================================ Name: Springlife Polarizers (Bioharmonics Enhanced) Desc: Stainless steel containers with a mixture of minerals and vegetation inside. Supposed to attract "chi", and correct imbalances in the environment or in a person (including helping detoxify from heavy metal poisoning). Several different sizes available, which can be worn on your person (around the neck, in a pocket), or placed on the fusebox/incoming water pipe, or near the EMF source. Vend: www.bioharmonics.com Expr: Immediate reaction to these -- greatly increased tolerance for CRT monitor, florescent lights, plus increased energy levels. For additional protection, try using multiple or larger models, or combining with Quantum Products. Be careful with usage -- too much exposure causes excessive detox symptoms. Can control by putting a few feet away from you, or limiting the amount of time you use them each day. Also need to be careful around pets -- my cats start pooping and peeing everywhere in the house if there are too many of these the house. Of the models, the smallest pendant ("Lifeforce") is not strong enough to be of much use. The OM pendant is a good size for typical EMF exposure when out and about. The larger sizes may be appropriate to place near a CRT computer monitor. There is a pen-sized and pager sized model which are not listed on the website, but can be special ordered. The Springlife Polarizers don't seem to work well with tolerating LCD computer monitors, though. Rslt: '+' ================================ Name: Quantum Products Desc: Filters the "noise" out of man-made electricity. Specialized models to treat houses, buildings, computers, , automobiles, and a portable pager-sized device. Vend: www.quantumproducts.com Expr: Immediate reaction to these -- greatly increased tolerance for CRT monitor, LCD monitor, and florescent lights. For additional protection, try using multiple or larger models, or combining with Springlife Polarizers. Be careful with usage -- too much exposure causes excessive detox symptoms. Can control by turning the setting down on some items, or limiting the amount of time you use them each day. Also need to be careful around pets -- my cats start pooping and peeing everywhere in the house if there are too many of these turned on in the house. Of the models, the portable "quantum companion" is the least powerful model, and is not powerful to be of much help. The power strip is much stronger, and is useful around the computer. The Quantum Pro is good at treating large areas, although it needs to be near a computer to treat it. The products for the computer (both software and hardware) work well for that use. The automobile model plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet, and works well, however it caused me to get electric shocks when leaving the car. These products work much better for LCD monitors than the Springlife Polarizers. Note that the power strip requires 120v/60hz power, while the other items use a 12 volt DC convertor or AA batteries. The disadvantage with this line is that there is no adequate portable solution. Rslt: '+' |
