EMF enclosure or wall for computer equipment

esforumrocks
Hi everyone, I'm looking for an EMF-blocking enclosure or wall I can put around or in front of some computer equipment.  I don't need it to completely eliminate all forms of EMF but any reduction would be most welcome.  If it's an enclosure I would need it to allow heat to escape to a reasonable degree.  Does anyone make that sort of thing or would I be looking at building it?  Would much rather buy if possible.

distance is one of the first things to look at.
and grounding either the pc or the monitor.
the larger the pc, usually the better ( less bad ).
external cables should not touch.
some further ideas :

Depends on how sensitive you are but use Steel case for the computer itself, nowdays many cases are aluminium. Also ps2 mouse and keyb are usually better than usb, but there are huge differences between usb pheripals. The Basic ones seems better than hightec gaming mouses for example. You should use a dedicated ps2 card in the computer not usb ps2 convertercable as this May be troublesome for es people. For monitor you can search this forum for more answers, or buy a low es monitor from specialcompanies. And use ethernet cable and turn off wifi. Some connection to computerscreens May be better than others f. Ex vga cable better than hdmi but it Depends. Good luck.

Thanks for these tips.  I'm looking for an EMI blocking vertical barrier.  Would I need to build something like that myself or is anything available either off the shelf or built to order?

If building myself, what material would you use?  EMI foam?

I try to cover each side of the computer, front, back and left/right side with 3mm thick mild steel plate, to shield and stop EMF, two 140mm fans attached at the top of the case allows the hot air to escape vertically , I attach few photos
