EMF Hypersensitivity Seminar in Prague

Hi all,

I don't recall if this has been mentioned before,
but there is an EMF Hypersensitivity Seminar in
Prague coming up in October:

(Perhaps a bit too far away for most list members!)

Marc,
I have posted this info regarding Prague seminar some 10 days ago! Could it
have been that it didn't show up through the list!? I was a bit disappointed
nobody replied...
Anyway, I am doing my best to participate there (it is a 1000 kilometers
from me), and possibly I would assemble a paper to present there, probably
regarding the fact that really ES people mostly don't find a proper
correlation between meter readings and the symptoms... It is concerning the
"magic devices" as well... I was thinking to make a small survey through the
list, when I prepare the small questionnaire.
I would appreciate any moral support from the list, regarding this report I
would try to make .

Drasko

Re: EMF Hypersensitivity Seminar in Prague

Hello Drasko,

with the proper meters, and with enough of it (regarding the SBM-2003) most
of the time I find a proper correlation between the readouts and the
symptoms (as can be seen on my website).
Helas, one single meter is not enough for that purpose.
There are a number of influences that can make people sick.
(For instance I check them on Candida albicans, too high a number on
formaldehyde can be a cause also, and magnetic DC fields, just to name a
few).
And mostly, when they have followed my advice (with for instance a liver
cleansing according the Huilda Clark method), their symptoms are much less.

Ahh yes, I see that posting in the archives! Someone had emailed me
about this yesterday, so I just passed that on without checking to
see if it had been posted before.

It would certainly be interesting to know what is discussed here,
although I worry that these things are mostly theoretical, and
perhaps not providing good practical advice for people who are
suffering now.

Also, note that anyone can peform a survey using the
YahooGroups "poll" feature:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/eSens/polls

Although this only works for multiple-choice questions.
If you've got more complex questions, then you'll have
to do it via email.

You'll have my support in any questionnaire Drasko. I have been so busy lately
I haven't had time to respond to much on the list lately so sorry about that.
Just getting through the emails now. I look forward to hearing what you learn
at the conference and if I was within 1000km radius, I would also be there.
All the best
Lachlan

Hi, Drasko,

I'll support you in this report in any way I can. Thank you for your
efforts and I hope you can get to Prague.

On the topic of lack of correlation between meter readings and
symptoms, you can include information from Dr. Cyril Smith's work
which shows that electrosensitives react to more than just the
classical electric and magnetic fields, which is what most of our
meters are claimed to measure. Here is a reference that covers this
topic in brief:

"Electromagnetic Hazard & Therapy 2002, Vol 13(1) pages 6-7.
Toroidal fields may explain mobile phone radiation effects."

I've posted the above article's contents in the Files section under
"CyrilSmith-EMHT-2002-Vol13.pdf".

Here are another couple of pieces of information on the 'lack of
correlation' subject (and please excuse me if I'm repeating something
already posted). First, sometimes electrosensitives have symptoms
triggered not solely by the EM field itself, but from entering or
leaving a field. Symptoms can occur after crossing a field's
threshold and then fade with time, even while still within the field.
Second, and I think this issue has been alluded to in the context of
circuit conditioners like the Quantum products, the complexity of a
field's waveform is also a factor in triggering. The more
chaotic/less smooth a waveform is, the less strength it needs to
trigger a response. For example, many fans give off a lot of
harmonics and have very uneven waveforms that change rapidly with
time. Many electrosensitives will react to these fans' fields at
lower milligauss levels than a field that is more regular. (These
situations were confirmed by Dr. William Rea, MD, of the Environmental
Health Center - Dallas.)

Regards,
Beau
