ELECTRO-SHOES WILL GENERATE THEIR OWN POWER

Jan Jenson <vizual@bellsouth.net>
Interesting concept... but
What's this going to do to the electrical pollution our bodies already
experience?

ELECTRO-SHOES WILL GENERATE THEIR OWN POWER

A Croatian entrepreneur has found a way of building generators in shoes
which are powerful enough to run a portable heater.

The shoes are worn with a bodysuit to keep the wearer warm on a cold day.

The invention has already drawn the attention of US military and will go
into mass production.

Croatian engineer Ivica Saric said he was lining up potential sales for his
"e-man" shoes and talks are at an advanced stage.

Mr Saric told Croatian daily Vecernji List the shoes are designed to
generate electricity when a person walks and then transfer that power to
special clothing which converts it into heat.

He said: "The electric shoes and the special suit are of modern design and
you would not be able to tell the difference between them and standard shoes
and clothes.

"The energy the shoes produce would be enough to power a laptop computer, or
keep a person warm on a cold day."

Speaking of shoes, I don't know if anyone here has a problem with getting
lots of shocks when they touch things, or if that's even one of the
official symptoms of ES, but I learned a few years ago that some shoe
companies make shoes with "static dissipating" soles. In the USA, Red Wing
Shoes makes such shoes. I had a problem where I was always getting shocks
when touching things, but after I bought these shoes, the problem
disappeared.

Thanks a lot for this Marc. My co-workers and I have been getting a lot of
shocks lately, which appears to be caused by moving to a new office with
carpet. We even tried unsuccessfully to modify our own shoes to dissipate
charge. I have now chosen not to wear shoes, and this of course works best,
but isn't always a suitable option. I keep getting hassled by co-workers about
occupational health and safety issues, but my argument for not wearing shoes
will be stronger if there is some connection to electrical sensitivity.

I have been getting shocked everytime I open my car door for years! Even during the summer when it isn't so dry. I know someone mentioned in a earlier posting about having an effect on lights, I swear when I drive done the road at least one street light will go out during my drive. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks

The street lights outside of our house go out almost every time I look
out the window! My wife and I concluded that the lights must be faulty,
and it's merely a coincidence that they go off when I'm looking out the
window, but you never know... :-)

When I used to use Quantum Product's "Auto Clear" in my car's
cigarette lighter jack, I would ALWAYS get a shock when I got out
of the car and touched the metal car door. When I didn't use
this device I didn't get any shocks, and later when I bought
some static dissipating shoes I stopped getting shocks altogether.
I contacted Quantum Products about this, but they said that they
had never heard of this problem.

I'm still wearing my static dissipating shoes from Red Wing Shoes,
and I still no longer get shocks.

Hi, Marc,
naturally you can see the lights go out only while looking at them;
they may go on and off all the time, but as long as you are not
looking you dont know. There is no mystery involved exept that you
think being the center of the world.

Several years ago, I also experienced street lights (Yellow/Orange Sodium
Vapour Lamps) going out as I walked past on many occasions, and I know of one
guy who experiences this to extremes - many street lights go out as he walks
along any road. I would say that in some, if not many cases, it could be a
case of faulty electronics combined with a person considering themselves to be
the centre of the universe (since we are all the centres of our own unique
perception of the universe). Perhaps though, in other cases, it is in fact
related to an interaction between the electronic device (in this case a sodium
vapour lamp with electronic ballast) and a person, or something associated with
a person (such as another electronic device or an unusual electric field
associated with a person, which could also explain the shocks). Perhaps it is
a bit of both (i.e. a faulty light that is very susceptible to external
interference) - in my opinion, only a pure experiment, rather than subjective
statistical analysis, will ever answer this particular question.

I also get shocks if I wear shoes with soles that are made with
substance that insulates body electricity and stops it from being
grounded (certaintypes of plastic/rubber). I also get hot feet, and
have trouble sleeping - a typical ES problem. Some types of rubber
soles seem to be OK though, and leather is ideal.

I would like to get some of these 'static dissipating shoes', will
investigate their availability in Australia!

Hello Lachlan Mudge,

it is known. that certain carpets on fllors, that contain plastics like f.i.
nylon may have an enormous amount of static electricity in Volts.
This culmulates into heavy air static electricity in Volts per meter.
This can result in fatique, headache and general uncomfortable feeling.
The only solution is to replace this carpet by one of a natural material
like wool or wood.

To measure this, special meters are reqiured, mostly working according to
the *Feldmuehle Pricipe*.

Hello Julie Hartinger,

the formulation of Dietrich Gruen is a bit unfortunate, but I understand
what he means.
It is very good written in the book *The Field* from Lynne McTaggart.
One may compare it in a way with Reiki (sort of) and if you are able to
contact with *the Field* you cab help yourself in your struggle with
electrosmog.
Although it is completely *in the mind*, it may help.
You can cover yourself with certain imaginay towels or blankets with
appropriate colors for certain areas of the body.
My wife has found that a *plastic* blanket helps her with the rf radiation
outside.

A lot of people may laugh about it, but it is worthwile in trying it.
It is also uncomprehensible to understand, that certain sysmbols can absorb
negative influence of electrosmog.
But is does work.

There is a lot between heaven and earth, that we do not know about.
We have a number of goose and ducks outside. And at night there can be heavy
discussions betwqeen them, that can last long. My wife then asks *the Field*
to shut them up.
How it works baffles me, but at that moment they are silent.
And this happens not only once, but several nights.

And I can assure you, that I am no fool, who believes in fairy tales.
As they say:*Such is life in the colonies!*

What's the big deal about??
Lights go out when I walk down the street too.
No big deal.
Either they do or they don't - NOTHING to PROVE to anyone!

I don't have to prove a damn thing to anyone - EVER!

There is a company called All-Spec, which offers a variety of grounding
straps which can be applied to any shoes, men's or women's. Cost is
something like $5-10, depending on model. Here is the website:

Re: Streetlights

Benson, Sarah (Sen L. Allison)
In reply to this post by Marc Martin
I agree with Charles, as I also find visualisation very effective and
use various colours. The mind is a powerful tool!

In my opinion one of the best things about this health issue is that it
will help change the scientific paradigm as to the nature of energy and
matter. Many quantum physicisits have already started discussing this,
and have written books about it - such as Rupert Sheldrake. Also how
the human body operates as a whole and in relation to the world around
us. It is for this reason that I find it all quite exciting (when I'm
not suffering). Because as Charles says there IS a lot that we don't
know - and discovering it bit by bit is what makes life exciting and
worthwhile. I am sure we ponly just at the beginning of what it is
possible to know. Remember Galileo! A good book to read about all this
is: 'The Structure if Scientific Revolutions' by Thomas Kuhn.

I have read material on the street-light going out phenomena in the past
- I don't think its that uncommon, but I'm not sure how it works. I'm
not even sure how streetlights work - whether some operate differently
than others, and only some types go out when someone goes by. I also
know that if one stands under very high voltage powerlines with a
fluorescent tube that it lights up.

I agree too that this is an area that is sorely in need of exploring and
debate, and that people need to be free to contribute their experiences
in an environment of trust and support.

Sarah
