Dual Polarizatio Radar

Do any of you who have dual polarization radar feel the difference.  Our city started the radar break & it feels better. Wer'e about 4 miles from the airport.
Grocery checkers & baggers were actually laughing & kidding around tonight.

We are getting  dual-polarization radar. the Weather Service in St. Louis will be unavailable for two weeks
beginning Feb. 27.

Current Doppler radar systems only transmit pulses in a horizontal
orientation, which is useful for providing information about how wide
particles are.  The new dual-pol radar transmits two pulses—one
horizontal, and one vertical -- that provide information for both the
width and height of particles.

Every Weather Service radar site will receive the upgrade, which began
in 2011, by the end of 2012. St. Louis, along with Kansas City, is
within the first third of offices receiving the updates.

Re: Dual Polarization Radar

Seattle was the first to get Dual Polarization Radar.  The installation
is in Langley, Wa which is 35 miles or 57 km from Seattle.  But there is nothing but water in between the two locations, so the Radar has no obstruction and is powerful enough to blanket the city.

I did not notice an obvious difference when they started it up, but it could be another contributing factor in my ongoing health problems, as far as I know.  I am sure I would be having more obvious reactions if I were closer to the source.  When a person is bathing in an EMF/Microwave soup, health effects from the various sources of EMF can be taking place at a cellular level and not be easily recognized..
