Don't hold phone/iPod in storm!

Three doctors recently wrote in the British Journal of Medicine about the
risk of using mobile phones outdoors during storms.
Usually, If someone is struck by lightning the high resistance of human skin
results in the electricity being conducted over the surface of the body,
without entering it. Death rate from this "flashover" is very low.
However, if metal is in direct contact with the skin, as is the case with a
mobile phone or iPod, the electricity is likely to go through the body,
causing severe internal injuries with greater death rates.
The Australian Lightning Protection Standard advises people not to carry
mobile phones outdoors during a storm,
