When I turn on my new IPS monitor, the switch-mode power supply for the monitor emits quite a bit of EMF between 1300khz and 1600khz.
When the SMPS(switch-mode power supply) is on the floor, its electromagnetic radiation between 1300khz and 1600khz penetrates well into my crotch and my legs.
After putting it above the desktop computer's case, EMF reduced drastically where I sit.
I want a 19V power supply that doesn't emit much EMF in the first place. Does a linear power supply emit little EMF?
Or, should I put it in a faraday cage? But, I don't know where to find a faraday cage for SMPS.
