I have posted recently re. Repetative Electrical Impulse noise REIN, to cut
a long story short I have noticed by using an am radio set to 1600khz that a
very relentless and aggressive sound appears on my telephone wire, certain
water pipes and radiators, and certain mains wireswith or without power on to
house. It starts about 3.30pm and goes on well into the small hours. At one
point when placing the AM radio over the phone socket I overheard a telephone
conversation ? anyway a friend has leant me a stetzer meter and this shows
that in the evening my power supply goes from 40 to 90 then onto between 250
and 350 units on the meter, The sound is generally always present when units
are high. The AM radio picks this up in the air, on my outside house
walls/bedroom wall and also on trees ie the trunks and leaves. Should I be
concerned about this what seems to be very high spikey/dirty elecricity or telecom
signals. Perhaps Shivani can enlighten me. We fitted stezer filters and
each one took the readings down by at least 30%, although I am not sure that I
like sitting close to the filters ?
