I just replaced my laptop with a desktop model last month because I wanted to move the
CPU as far away from me as possible. For me, the laptop was just too "buzzy" and I
couldn't move it far enough away from me to give relief. But I know some people prefer
laptops because they can run it on a battery, and that seems to help them.
If you can, compare brands too. I don't know why, but when I was comparing computer
models I noticed that some brands are consistently more irritating than others. Also
consider comparing LCD vs. CRT monitors. ES people don't always react the same way to
an EMF source so it's worth running experiments in a store yourself, if youcan stand to be
in that environment.
