Hi - I am looking at getting a Toshiba DVDR with a hard drive to record an occasional tv show. I think I will be OK with the hard drive from 10 feet away, but I see that it has a fan... maybe they all do - I've never owned one. Is that a common source of emf? Or is it just a small fan like in a laptop? Thanks.
