Could using laptop on battery power only be the answer?

I am Electo-Sensistive when using my laptop on the mains - something I have never tried - using battery's only, would this make a difference? Note: I will be using cable broadband via an Ethernet cable. thanks.

It might make a difference -- some people here only use battery-powered
laptops, because they can tell a difference in symptoms.

Some laptops throttle the processor when running
on battery. My 5 year old HP laptop (L2000 with
Turion64 processor) runs at 800 MHz when on the
battery and "minimal power management" is set.

Running at 800 MHz makes it much more tolerable,
whereas the magnetic field goes through the roof
when running at 1.6 GHz.
