Controling your computer without a mouse or keybord, check this out

Hello everyone, Ive been doing some research online trying to find an alternative to using a mouse, I found a few possible solutions...

One is a program called camera mouse, what it does is, it uses your webcam to track your head motion, allowing you to control your mouse by just slightly moving your head. This is for PCs only, it can work on a windows parrelel if your using a MAC but wont work on a mac operating system directly. I asked and they dont have any plans to make a mac version

For Mac's there is a program called iNavigate that is similar, but it suposedly only works with a built-in isight camera or an external firewire isight camera.

For me this doesnt work in my situation unforunatrely becasue I use an external monitor connected 12 feet away from my macbook pro.

Both of these programs are FREE you just need your own webcam

For Macs theres another program called sofa control which lets you use the dvd infrared control, to control the computer it works as a mouse and you can also type with it, they have a free demo to try it out, but Im not sure if its better or worse for ES people

Then there is also something called smartnav that works by using, an infrared camera, it uses LED's that emit infrared light that detect your motion, (I dont now if by doing this the infrared thats being emmited will make oursymptoms worse?) these cost from 400-500 They work with MACs and PC

There are foot controlled mouses (*mice) you can find them by googling foot-mouse

There are a few things out there that are similar and much more expensive. For more info you can check out this link which has the links to most of these.

You can use an on screen keyboard to eliminate a regular keyboard, there are downloadable ones that are easier to use than the ones that come already installed, they are meant for people with disabilities so they can type fast using these devices.
