Concise info needed

alinepapille
Hi,

Can anyone point me to some concise info about the effects of analogue
cordless phones and also wireless internet?

I need to do some convincing. Something shortish preferably.

Thanks,
Aline

Concisely, no.

You will not get a short description. You have to read
many papers on pulsed transmissions and extrapolate from
studies from several directions. Behind which complexity
industry is hiding. Now that I have said that
someone will probably come up with a shortish answer!

Someone will probably chip in and prove me wrong, but it seems to be
quite difficult to get hold of really thorough Fact Sheets on the whole
array of wireless technologies now out there. I've been trying to get
one for DECT phones for ages that i could hand out to ppl i see in
shops etc, working 1 metre away from them (and doubtless returning home
to sleep next to one too).
Powerwatch produce information, but you have to pay for it, and because
i have zero cash i have never bought any so cannot verify whether its
any use.
Someone also mentioned the ES-UK website which has a section, but it
may not be as in-depth as you'd like.
One day there'll be shelves full of books on this ("Wireless Technology
for Dummies" perhaps).
Not much use. You may have gathered that most of us are groping round
in the dark!
