Concerns about new free Wi-Fi from public library

I learned today that my city library is installing a new Wi-Fi system that will service local residents homes (for free) in the surrounding area. They don't know how far the range will extend, but they're using Cisco Meraki hardware. Fortunately, I don't live close to the library, but they mentioned the schools using it, too (and they're kind of far away from the library—not quite as far as I am, but the difference is too narrow for comfort, even if I doubt it'll get to my house).

It sounds like a great free service, but I'm concerned about the radio waves, and the impact they could have, especially if they're strong. I would appreciate your insight into the situation.

Id be concerned as well. I wrote my public library about their strong wifi signal but I was ignored. That was years ago. I think we really have to awaken the activist in all of us. I myself am tired of complaining behind closed doors because it doesnt get anything done.
best advice is just don't bother using their service. contact someone who works there and send them peer reviewed articles on how wifi can be dangerous. one decent paper was written by Martin Pall "wifi an important threat to human health" it was included in a reputable environmental research journal.
