Cinemas safe?

What are your experience - are they safe for ES sufferrers or not? Think it also depends on technology used in the cinema of course.

The main issue I have with movie theaters is being surrounded by people using their cellphones.  If you go when the theater is empty, then it's fine.  Also, we have a deluxe theater where everyone has huge chairs spaced far apart, and that's been fine too.

I don't seem to have an issue with modern projection technologies (which no longer uses film), but I've never tried the theater around here that has laser projection.

I noticed that some are terrible for me and others I don't mind, not sure what's behind the scenes that's making such a huge division though because I don't know much about theaters and how the picture gets to the screen in more modern places. There's this real old place near me that I don't like but if I wanna see anything is the safest option because I'm not bothered by it but of course the one place I do like I can't stand. I get a real bad reaction and feel horrible afterwards. Usually when I get bad exposure to an HD screen my nervous system freaks out and my thyroid just won't have any of it which is why I returned to this forum today to see what's up on the ES front because I'm having some real high definition problems right now.
