HI everyone, new to the forum and I'd just like to say I'm very interested and think this is a great community! I have suffered for the last few years and am desperately trying to rid myself of EMF sensitivity, so this seems like a great place to share information.
One topic I have run across a lot is too much heavy metal in one's system. I recently got tested for this and found I have cadmium and/or zinc in my system, maybe copper too. Does anyone here have any experience with cleansing their bodies of metals? and if so how did you do it and did it make a noticeable change? |

Yes, I think getting rid of metals can be essential for some people to help reduce sensitivities. Although it can be hard to tell which metals are causing the problem, because they often don't show up on tests (as they remain in your body, and are not excreted into whatever you are testing, e.g. urine, blood, hair, etc.) Also, some people have built up an accumulation of metals because they cannot excrete them well. So trying to get them out can be problematic. That said, there are a wide variety of methods and opinions on how to get the metals out, and you may have to try a few (or a lot!) to find one that works well for you. And what what works well for you might not be the same thing that works well for someone else. Marc |
Good point Marc, I do have a few ideas of what to try. I just like to get referrals per say if I can, see if people have experienced results or if one products seem to have better results. I may be trying a clay bath

Hi, I am in the process of a detox just now, http://www.drclark.net/ it starts with a parasite cleanse then a kidney cleanse then a liver, I have seen a slight change from doing the parasite cleanse but have the other 2 to go still, I will post results when complete, I am also having my fillings removed.

Those sound like good basic systemic cleanses Chris M. Another helpful guide to sweeping & dredging the body's big rivers are seasonal cleanses under guidance of health columnist Jon Barron. He recommends his own products, worth studying, no obligation to purchase. As for tissue levels of unwanted minerals (aka "heavy metals") the safest first step in my experience is to begin and persist with supplementation of Nutritive Broad Spectrum Trace and Macro Minerals & Electrolytes. Help the good chase away the bad. Helpful discussion on these matters, including body conductivity and bio-physics generally, can be found in the archives & ongoing at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ORMUS/.

I may be trying a clay bath It seems that you can always find someone who has reported success with something, and that also you can find someone who cannot find a solution and has seemingly tried everything... hi, john. what i do that works for me is greens, greens, greens.
i was especially fond of cilantro for a while. chlorophyll is only one ion different than hemoglobin, so you know you are getting what you need for good blood when you eat lots of greens. .
your body actually NEEDS ALL the minerals in the periodic table of elements - for the minerals appear in intercellular fluids in the same ratio as they appear in seawater. so it's good to change sodium chloride (NaCl) table salt to full-spectrum sea salt - not the white, sparkly, free-flowing stuff, but the moist, faintly colored clumps of salt that were air dried or sun dried... not kiln dried. heat does something to foods that makes them less body-friendly. this will provide the minerals in the right ratio. most of us are deficient in magnesium, which is the central ion in chlorophyll, for few people these days eat greens. and you can also buff up your magnesium level with magnesium oil, which is simply one part of 'nigari' (MgCl) plus one part water. some slather it on lavishly. i just use it from time to time as needed - when i get a cramp. gets rid of it right away. i also agree with your observation that when someone is EMS, they might have been exposed to mega doses of not-so- good metals. i can recall several times in my life when i was exposed. life on planet earth is not as simple as it used to be. we have many challenges, everywhere. exposure to environmental extremes has put us out of balance. i had great success many years ago with macrobiotics in which you eat brown rice with sesame seeds and GOOD salt for at least ten days... i did it all one summer, because i kept feeling better and better as the weeks went by. rice will clean you out. good book: "You are all SANPAKU" by william dufty. excellent. this is a cheap, simple method that works gradually to clear the body of foreign, toxic substances. but also raw foods and greens... an easy way to get both into your body is with green smoothies... theRawFamily.com - you can make sweet smoothies or raw salad drinks. i also love huge salads with lemon juice, olive oil and garlic plus full-spectrum celtic salt. the most colorful - beets, dark green leafy greens, etc - organically grown so there are no toxic chemicals that add to your heavy metal load - and REAL salt, CLEAN water (no fluoride, no chlorine, no other industrial wastes), and above all - don't breathe the air if you live under chemtrails. :) i use a negative ion generator to keep the air clear and clean. and i eat as much of my food raw as possible. good also to read up on raw foods - lots of info on various sites, including rawFamily - just google. there's a really good health expert in the UK who makes videos, named Elwin... VERY knowledgable. see some of his videos here: i've also used an ionic footbath that i rigged up myself. not as fancy as the ones you can buy commercially, but it seemed to work well... and i need to use it more often, just for good measure. i used a few 9V batteries connected to one another's poles, then put an alligator clip from radio shack on each leftover pole at the end of the group - and connected the other end of each alligator clip to strips of stainless steel i got from a hardware store for 99 cents each - so it's a bit like making colloidal silver but it's ss stainless steel rather than ss sterling silver. i arranged the metal strips so they would not touch each other or my feet in the water bucket - bent them over the side artistically, and covered the metal strips and my feet with purified water... some use distilled... i used zero water, filtered water. and then i sat and let the footbath work. seemed to do good things for me. i no longer have excruciating cramps but still have small ones at times, so i need to do more, i believe. i was exposed to HEAVY metals at a hyundai plant and that night my ankles and eyelids swelled to the size of, respectively, baseballs and golf balls. after that, i had problems behind my eyes and also in my legs. i've been doing well since the footbaths. but i also maintain a very clean diet... described above... but i do not deprive myself of good flavors. :) wishing you the very best of health! love, patricia On Sep 29, 2014, at 10:20 PM, John Dos [via ES] wrote: HI everyone, new to the forum and I'd just like to say I'm very interested and think this is a great community! Thank you all so much for your advice! I'm sorry I haven't got back on as this slipped my mind for a bit, which may be partially because of how much better I've been feeling. As we speak I am typing on my iPad I have been using for the past two hours with almost no symptoms!
I think it's great to have a community like this, so let me add to it with what I've done recently. One major issue in my life the last few years has been Zoloft and trying to wean myself of it. The long and short of it is it has taken a lot more effort than my doctor told me, and I've been seeking alt. help, specifically acupuncture. Recently I have been seeing a homeopath and an acupuncturist for Zoloft withdrawal and emf, and have noticed a change. One thing I'll point out is one of the biggest changes I noticed was when I was finally down to 12.5mg of Zoloft, down from 25mg. I want to say there is a correlation, but I can't for sure. Just something to think about if one is on medication. Either way I lean towards avoiding chemical manipulation through drugs when possible. They have their place, but maybe not a permanent one, at least in my life. Patricia, your post was a huge resource and I want to look into much of what you said, thank you thank you! The other post I am about read :) |
oh, i'm so glad, john!
thanks for the feedback. as for the zoloft... i had a client once who quit zoloft and he felt SO much better after he did. if you would like expert help on weaning yourself, see www.DrugAwareness.org (or com?) ann blake tracy has a safe method to quit. as for depression... it's really not a disease; it's simply an accumulation of unresolved sorrows. i use EFT and meditation to let go of sorrows, fears, angers, etc. often we are taught to hold in our tears... especially males. i studied reevaluation co-counseling years ago and it said that tears were the body's way of discharging sorrow, pounding and kicking (like a tantrum) were the body's way of discharging anger, and shaking was the body's way of discharging fear - oh, yes, and yawning is the body's way of discharging boredom - and a signal to us that we have let go of the charge that holds the emotions to us. oh, and the one caveat was to not hurt yourself or anyone else in the process, so for instance you can use a plastic bat on a sturdy pillow to pound. i too used to be unable to cry, so after learning that, i am not afraid of emotions now. and i am not afraid when someone else goes through them either. it's just the natural way to release... but sometimes people go through the tears and pounding etc and don't really let go. you know when it's all really gone when you can think of the "problem" and still breathe fully and freely and deeply. :) best wishes for your total healing and freedom from zoloft - nasty stuff! love, patricia On Nov 26, 2014, at 11:23 PM, John Dos [via ES] wrote: Thank you all so much for your advice!
