AF: So how do you detoxify your EHS patients?
BC: They must first avoid meat because it too often contains heavy metals conducting electricity. Most heavy metals are stored in the body fat, organs and cells. The first step is to get rid of excess fat. Second, we recommend the daily use of an infrared sauna, and copious consumption (at least 30 tablets a day, in the worst cases from 120 to 180 tablets per day) of Chlorella, a green freshwater algea. We put people in an infrared sauna at least 30 minutes once a day for the easy cases, and 30 to 60 minutes, two or three times a day for serious cases. It is important to start slowly and gradually increase the duration of the sauna.

AF: Yes, because sweating returns the heavy metals in the bloodstream, right?
BC: Definitely. Infrared waves have a frequency that heats the interior of body cells and opens them as though they are tickled. But we must not forget that the most important thing is to drink pure water.

AF: I filter my well water with a multi-stage system including reverse osmosis. But should you really drink eight glasses of water a day?
BC: For each pound of body weight, people should drink daily ½ ounce of water or green juice – for example, a wheat grass juice to detoxify and balance your protein. So if you weigh 150 pounds, you need 75 ounces (2.2 liters) of water per day.

AF: What are the most important nutritional supplements for the electrosensitive?
BC: Seaweed and edible green clay from France. In addition, systemic enzymes help restore the normal frequency of cells.

AF: And what minerals and vitamins promote detoxification?
BC: B vitamins allow nerves to grow so that neurons can regain their normal state. You have to be very careful because, as I wrote a few years ago in my book Supplements Exposed, 91% of the vitamins on the market contain deadly synthetic chemicals made from petroleum. They should be avoided. Good vitamin supplements (such as New Chapter and Vitamin Code brands) are made with natural and whole ingredients. Minerals are also important. Since most are not digested by the body, you must choose ionic minerals. For example, most calcium tablets on the market contain crushed oyster shells that harden the arteries, or worse, ground chalk that causes cancer. The most important ionic minerals for electrosensitive people are manganese, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium. It’s good to eat seaweed but rinse their salt as a high sodium increases electrical frequencies in the body. In Canada, I recommend dulce seaweed.

AF: What else do you recommend for EHS?
BC: If possible, it is very important to take mineral baths, for example, putting Dead Sea or even common salt in your bath. You lie in very, very hot water for 20 to 30 minutes at night before going to bed. For something a bit more powerful, add a quarter cup of powdered ginger (much cheaper if purchased in an Indian food market.) It heats the body and gently opens the pores of the skin to give you more ionic energy and to ground the electromagnetic energy in your body. Water, of course, is the best conductor.

AF: Should bath water be filtered to prevent pollutants from penetrating your open skin pores? BC: Yes. You can put a good carbon filter on a hand-held shower head and use it to fill your bath. Municipal water and well water is very polluted worldwide. A factory can pollute groundwater 200 miles away.

What?!  I'd think that 30+ tablets of chlorella per day would make many
people here *much* worse.  Even the super-clean chlorella.  There are
plenty of comments from people on these sorts of groups on how
chlorella made them worse.

And one should point out that a lot of chlorella on the market is not clean,
so it could make you worse just from the contamination alone (the same
concern that was mentioned about meat)

I never take tablets,.. just powder, the Organic Traditions chlorella pyrenoidosa. It is in powder form, and I can take a big tablespoon with no problem..
30 tablets, if each tablet is 1gram (1000mg), that's 30grams,.. the powder is very light weight, so likely 5 tablespoons to get 30 grams, or even more.. that is quite a lot indeed, .. I don't like too much of anything. One tablespoon of powder I think is definitely enough. Tablets contain binders and other things, I wouldn't recommend it. Same as pills. I never swallow a pill, I always open it and take the contents directly, unless it's enteric coated, then all the benefits are gone if you open it.. They all contain stuff.. and if it's in a pill, it contains magnesium stearate almost always, to help it flow into the pill... but for health it's not good.

My own findings are that food is better than supplements to heal, also when it comes to ES. This is also supported in science.
Nuts are healthy while a single nutrient in nuts like E-vitamin taken as supplement may cause cancer.(synthetic vitamin E).

So its about the total..

Why one should be careful with supplements in general in the industrialized world:
-many supplements have added things that are not on the ingredient list. Sometimes dangerous amounts of coffeine, green tea extract, toxic herbs, illegal drugs... Thousands are disabled or killed each year worldwide from toxic supplements.
-many supplement firms simply dont have the seriousness or expertise to make such things. Missing certifications etc.
-very easy to get too much. With food one get "fed up" with a food when one get enough. The body dont have the same reaction to supplements.
-the advertising tells you every supplement is very important to you - its is a bluff. Most get enough nutrients from a proper balanced diet. If not a proper diet is possible a multivitamin pill is recommended by some experts to stay on the safe side.

Some may need supplements yes but its generally too much bogus out there.

Any MULTI with a big mixture of ingredients has not worked for me, even the most organic and whole food. I only take single things, like zinc, or magnesium. Whenever things are combined I think it becomes too complex for my body.. And even worse, if one of the things in there is helping, you will never know which one it is.

I also think this Brian guy is a little off, or maybe a lot off on many things.. It seemed he was quite good, but he's too crazy about some things, like offgassing of polyester clothes and saying the clothes kill you. Sure they're not the greatest because you sweat like crazy, but there is so little offgassing I barely smell it.. There's more offgassing from everything else, computers, carpets, wood the house is made out of, even tap water!..

Only supplements I'd recommend are in simple form, like black seed oil, zinc, magnesium, iron+b12, betaine HCL, and possibly iodine which I'm just trying now.  If for example food comes out of you looking similar to the same way it was eaten, then betaine HCL can be a small miracle.. it helped me a lot, and it's not whole food or anything like that.. it's just acid. It helps melt your food down so you can absorb nutrients and recover your digestive system.. after a while, it's no longer needed even as the stomach gains it's ability back.

I swear by chlorella. I think it literally saved my life during lyme disease.

That was when my ES started.

Without chlorella, I'm pretty sure I'd be still sick with lyme and with extreme ES.

I consumed chlorella in kilograms... And I still do (in less amounts though).
That is how I buy it, organic, in kilograms, and eat the stuff in powder or pressed tablets.

30 tablets a day is nothing. I could take easily 100 tablets a day, in my bad days.

My daughter grew with chlorella, she also had lyme, and that is one of the supplements she still takes today. Any tummy pain, she takes chlorella. If she is anxious, she takes it. Me too.

Many people though have difficulties digesting chlorella. I had lots of problem in the beginning, but increasing the dose helped me.

I know some other people would throw up on chlorella or have diarrhea, or whatever reactions.
For me, it is still my number 1 supplement. It took me 4 months to get used to it.
The final test was when I took two handful of chlorella AT ONCE (I think it was about 120 tabs or so).

It was a great feeling, of relaxation. Since that moment, my body finally accepted it.

That's the supplement that I always buy again (never missing!). It's been like that since I first discovered chlorella.

I had been suffering from gastritis and all different diagnosis different gastroenterologists give you if you go see them. Since the 1st time I took chlorella, my tummy pains got much better.

After a short while, my gastritis (that had been bothering me with 24h pain 365 days a year, non stop for at least 20 years) disappeared never to return.

It's been 13 years gastritis free, and I thank chlorella for that.

Anthony William recommends spirulina instead. He says chlorella is hard for most people.
And barley grass, and Atlantic dulse for heavy metals.

He does not recommend clay (I took it though, short term). Also took activated charcoal, short term.

If anyone is interested:

Dead Sea Salts are also my favorite.
They feel so nice, even if I only do foot baths with them. Very relaxing.

As for Romana's comment, I used to be like you, avoided supplements etc.
Until lyme hit.  I still used mostly herbs and homeopathy for treating it, but I could not avoid supplements (such as D3, magnesium, omega 3, some B vitamins for example).

Chlorella is not a drug: it's an algae.
