Brain Fag

Yolanda LaCombe
I think I deleted a couple of posts from people who were not able to
remember what they were going to do on the computer when they turned
it on.

A product that quickly saved the sanity of myself and my husband is
phosphatidyl serine. His mother and father both had dementia before
they died and I was afraid that he was going that way and I was
getting loopy from taking care of him. We are both in our 60s. I
could tell a difference in him the next day after t he first dose
and in myself in a couple of hours. It is still working 3 years
later. I am not receiving a commission from this. I am not even that
fond of this doctor, but this is a great product at a great price and
I can't find it online.

It is an amino acid made from soy and it works fast. It is one of
these products that has to be used in a fairly large amount (500 mg)
to work. The particular one that I use I get from a vitamin doctor
here in California. He does not have a website. He will sell anybody
non prescription items. His price on this particular product is
excellent. I cannot find it on line. If anyone wants to email me
privately I will give him the info.

Hope this helps,

Yolanda

Phosphatidyl serine can be ordered online from iherb.com.
They list it as phosphatidylserine.

I eat raw grassfed beef which is supposed to contain all the amino acids, so probably
don't need a supplement.

Re: Brain Fag

I love iHerbs prices, website and service. I live in Greater L.A. so I
generally get my orders next day if I have ordered early enough.
However, in this particular case nobody including iHerbs had the PS in
a high potency. I have done many searches. In order to get that much
potency I would have had to order a LOT of product and therefore pay a
LOT of money. You are right though, if you can get the nutrient from
food it is better and also you probably won't need as much.

There is a school of self care called Natural Hygiene (I think). It was
popular during the 20s and 30s. The basis is that if you eat large
amounts of specific nutrient dense foods you can cure yourself. I am
seeing a practitioner that is into this. Her mother cured her of
crippling polio during the late 40s early 50s. As best I can tell, it
does work but it is very time consuming and can be expensive running
all over town to get these foods, often out of season. Thanks for the
heads up though. I am not a raw foodist but I can tolerate raw beef of
high quality and also most raw vegetables. I will look into it. How
much beef and how often?

Have a great day,

Yolanda

Theres's at least one who eats only beef, suet and a mix of innards, all raw - been at it a
year and a half.
I can't do this for lack of fat and innards. so eat raw beef about 5 times /week, and I
don't eat lunch or breakfast. Would do better if I could get the stuff fromSlanker's.

It's just the paleolithic diet.
