Hi Bill (Bruno), I hope you don't mind me addressing this to you, as you seem to be one around here who knows something about this, but anyone out there with an idea who can advise, too, is most welcome!
I'm going to be using a mobile home for a while - it has two DC motors, forthe pump and furnace; I know, Bill, that you said the brushes of the motors can have create RF - my main concern would be that RF conducting along the wiring in the mobile home.
I'm thinking of using ferrites on the motor wires, and don't think it'll bea total waste, but ideally (well, ultimately, I'd just get filtered motors, though that's out of the question right now) I'd be using capacitors and inductors. So I've been told, at least, though I have no idea how to actually do that.
Can you advise on what to look for (ratings), and how I'd attach them (physically, and in what sequence) to the motor? All I assume is that they'd have to be attached to the wire leads at the end of the motor. Beyond that,I'd have no idea how to proceed.
If you can help out, that would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
R.
